I had them pause it and resume it in the summer when services were actually needed. Now that summer is over I have called them twice letting them know that their services are no longer needed and I want the services canceled. They demand to know why instead just proceeding with canceling the contract. You are not entitled to my money. I don't need to provide you a reason Every time they say I can't cancel until a manager reaches out to me. They have yet to do so. I am tired of wasting my time on the phone. Worst company to get any pest control done by. One of the bosses named Don is the biggest liar…read moreyou'll ever meet. I called them because of noises in the attic and till this day I'm still hearing it. These guys come acting like they are the most professional company ever and know what they are talking about. TRUST ME, once they get your money, they don't care about you. Super inconsistent. Dec 2024 - Spoke to Josh Rankert sales rep. He came and took pictures of my attic. Never physically went inside of the attic. He literally just poked his head in and took pictures. He said nothing was getting in thru the attic because it was all sealed up there. Vents had protectors on them and so did the chimney. So the only logical reason is they are coming in thru the bottom. Feb 2025 - gave them the job end of Feb and paid $2600 in full (didn't finance) for their "Orkin Shield" and came with a 1 year warranty. They set up traps to catch pest and said they would come check the traps in about a week. Mar 2025 - it's been a full month and nobody has come to check the traps. I had to physically call them to ask them when they were going to come check them. If I never called them, who knows how long they would have taken to come out. They said we are so sorry this never happens, we'll send someone out right now. Yeah okay, I'm sure it never happens. Jun 2025 - They sent out Josh's boss who is Benjamin Smith, he says they can't figure out why's we are still hearing noises on the attic but he assured me they will get it figured out. Ben didn't do anything other than come talk to me. That's it. They came and put more traps out a little later on in the day but that's all. Aug 2025 - still hearing noises in the attic. I called them and they plugged up a small hole they found outside. They thought that maybe whatever was getting in was getting in thru there. Didn't do anything as I was still hearing noises. Oct 29 2025 - I call them again that I'm hearing stuff in the attic. This time Don Whitenight came out (Lmaoooo. Crazy azz last name because he is not a White Knight what so ever.) and he brought somebody out with him to physically go inside the attic and GUESS What, THEY FOUND A BIG HOLE UP THERE. DON SAID HE WILL SEND AN INSPECTOR TO COME CLOSE IT UP!!! Oct 31 2025 - Don sends me an inspector by the name of Brenden. BRENDEN NEVER CAME TO PLUG UP THE HOLE. HE CAME TO UPSELL ME ON MORE SERVICES. I'm sorry guys, you couldn't take care of the first job I gave you and now you want me to give you more of my money for super bad horrible service again? Brenden kept saying, yeah we dropped the ball on this job, sorry for the service you've been given, but again he was trying to sell me more services instead of fixing the 1st issue, I can tell his apology was not genuine. BRENDEN SHOWED ME THE ORIGINAL ORKIN REPORT FROM JOSH. IT WAS WEIRD THAT HE SHOWED ME IT IN BLACK AND WHITE. SO I PULLED UP THE FULL COLOR VERSION MYSELF AND TURNS OUT YOU CAN SEE THE HOLE THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO CLOSE UP SINCE THE VERY BEGINNING‼‼‼ Nov 4 2025 - They came and plugged up the hole in the attic they found. They even reset the traps they left out there since AUG 2025. Nov 20 2025 - Squirrel was caught in one of the traps and called them to come get it taken care of. By the time they got there, the squirrel escaped and they took the traps with them instead of setting them back up again. The guy that came out says we are not signed up for pest control. How is that possible if they have been setting traps up all year long and are just now telling me this. AT THIS POINT I'M SUPER MAD BECAUSE ORKIN HAS PUT ME THRU THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER. SO I WENT TO THEIR FACILITY TO HAVE A CONVERSATION AND THEY ENDED UP KICKING ME OUT BECAUSE I CALLED THEM OUT ON THEIR LIES. HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO HAVE A HAPPY CONVERSATION WITH YOU AFTER EVERYTHING YOU PUT ME THRU? BEST BELIEVE WHEN I LEFT THEY GOT CUSSED TF OUT! SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME & MONEY! DON'T WORK WITH ORKIN. THEY ARE LIARS.

The job requires climbing a ladder, removing 2-3 bird nests, and putting a screen on the back to prevent it happening in the future. I'm thinking maybe $200. They came back with a quote for $1,315!! They came out to take a look at it and told us they didn't see any live mice or bats, but that we should seal up the house just in case. We did this and then were still hearing the noise and they ignored this until we got a video of a raccoon in our basement that we shared with them. They then told us it would be $695 to catch the raccoon, which we continued with because they seemed helpful. WRONG! They then quoted us $500 for another solution for the outside deck, but then billed us 1/2 down for $2,500! We called to cancel this service and they told us that it was actually $695 PER WEEK to catch the raccoon even though they hadn't caught it or seen it on video. Within hours of us getting our own cameras, we located the raccoon and within one night of another person coming out, they caught the raccoon. Critter Control did nothing but sell us things we didn't need and waste our time instead of getting us a real solution. DO NOT USE THEM!
