STOP SEARCHING- THIS IS YOUR BUG GUY! I have never had the opportunity to use this service PLEASE keep reading for how/why I am giving him such a great review without ever having him come to my house. Bob had great reviews so I reached out to him first. I also called a few other places and one in particular quoted me prices and plans etc. without asking any specifics about the kind of ant problem I had. The quotes were very high and even the one time service seemed ridiculous but I didn't know what to do and if these ants were doing damage. I agreed to have them come out. Bob called me back personally towards the end of the day and was very friendly and quickly asked about my ants, where they were and how they formed and then said, "those are just sand ants and you have nothing to worry about. Even if I came out and sprayed, they would come right back." We went on to talk about how big companies that he had previously worked for try to wrangle people into plans and spending their money and how it isn't often ethical or needed." I thanked him profusely and promised a great review for his integrity, expediency in getting back to me and his ability to assess the need (in this case- none) and wishing me a great weekend. This is all after a day of having to spend $11k on a new air conditioner and furnace (which I did legitimately need). This is the guy I will call and recommend to anyone asking. There aren't as many honest business people out there as I would like and as a business owner myself I feel it is my duty and thank you to share the businesses that are truly out to serve their community in their area of expertise. I feel that the service was good. I still don't understand why the previous company I used applied insecticide inside of the basement while Bob's only applied outside home. So I am not sure if his system works or not. I will wait for more time to formulate an informed opinion. STOP! Seriously stop scrolling to look at other pest control options, and do yourself a favor and call Bob The Bug Guy and his wonderful team! I rarely take time to write reviews, because I don't really HAVE time, but my experience with Bob's office was SO wonderful that I'm making time! I called with concerns of a wood-destroying insect issue in the wood pile in our backyard. Amy (the delightful person that returned my call), had me text Bob pictures of the wood, so that he could try to determine which insect we were dealing with - so he could give me a quote. It was 4pm, so Amy let me know that he might not get back to me until the next day. Well 30 minutes later Amy called me back to say that Bob looked at the photos and determined that the signs I saw were not caused by termites or carpenter ants - but by one of a couple of different kinds of wood beetles (which I suspected from some frantic Googling I did the night before). She let me know that that was great news, since these beetles' natural habitat is outdoor wood, and that they would not be a threat to our house or garage - as long as we didn't take the wood into our house for some reason. That was IT! Earlier in the day I had called Terminix for them to give me a quote. They asked me if I knew what insect we were dealing with, and I said that based on what I saw online I thought it was one of a couple of different "wood beetles", and instead of telling me that they weren't a threat to my house, he said that he "looked it up in their system", and that their treatment "covers that type of insect too". They wanted to charge me $199 to come out, assess and TREAT my whole house, wood pile, and yard for an insect that isn't even a danger to my house or garage! So if you're looking for a fast response, honest communication, and a LOCAL professional who will take great care of you (and not take advantage OF you) - do yourself a favor and call Bob The Bug Guy!! read more

Safely removed a yellow jacket nest and thoroughly checked/sprayed all other areas of the exterior of our home. Received a detailed work summary. We had what appeared to be some type of large hive with angry little inhabitants behind one of our front porch columns. I called their office mid-morning, he said he would come by as soon as he was finished at another job and would call on the way. He called and was here just as promised before days end. He told me right away how much it would cost, (very reasonable), and went and put on his suit and took care of the problem right away.
