Not only did they make this secret come true they did it for a very fair price and seemed to enjoy being a part of the surprise as much as I did. Three pieces were served up with fries and two plastic containers of tartar sauce. I was absolutely full and happy with the fish, despite the outside lacking a crispy texture. Why? Because it was the freshest fried fish I had in a while. The fries were a little too salty for my liking, but they were nice and warm for a cold day in Petersburg. Their hours are restricted, closing up around 2:30pm in the day, so you may want to see this as your lunch spot. It is connected to the fish processing place, which is their bread and butter and secondly a place to eat. I would certainly come back for the friendly and quick service, and to support a small business in town.

Their interior is small, but has a reasonable number of seats for the space they have. The prices may sit on the higher end ($15-20 for an entree), but I didn't think it was unreasonable. The rockfish is fried perfectly, the tortillas are as fresh as you find in places that are a lot more Mexican than Petersburg, and they have fresh cabbage and good-quality salsas. That is to say--these aren't tourist-oriented fish tacos in a cruise ship town, but tacos made by Mexicans for American fishermen.
