A gem in downtown Petersburg! Their food is fresh and delicious; anything on their menu is sure to be fabulous. I have had the quesa-burria, green chile pork burrito, fried plantains and their churros. Flavorful and authentic! The service is good and they are very friendly. They have many drinks you can choose from in stock. I had a guava flavored Jarrito which I hadn't had before, so I'm happy they had it as an option. Their interior is small, but has a reasonable number of seats for the space they have. The prices may sit on the higher end ($15-20 for an entree), but I didn't think it was unreasonable. After all, it's Alaska and prices will be higher. Overall, I would highly recommend if you find yourself in Petersburg!! read more

No atmosphere and no friendliness, but the best fish tacos I've had. Specifically, they make the only fish tacos I've had that are good not just as vessels for fish, but also as tacos. The rockfish is fried perfectly, the tortillas are as fresh as you find in places that are a lot more Mexican than Petersburg, and they have fresh cabbage and good-quality salsas. That is to say--these aren't tourist-oriented fish tacos in a cruise ship town, but tacos made by Mexicans for American fishermen. read more

Yummy rockfish taco and burrito with their home made slaw. Also i liked the pickled onions that they have to add to my burrito too Cute little place with authentic Mexican food in this town. I would come again. Possibly in the am for some breakfast fixings. read more

Food was great, it was first time here in Alaska, and the Mexican food reminded me of home!

Service is pick up at counter for the most part, was ok but not very friendly. Food was horrible. I am American, I can make a better quesadilla. The steak didn't taste like steak, it was mostly ground up and that is unusual for this kind of food. It just tasted bad, also watered down refried beans. read more

Food was good and the service was friendly, but they were nowhere ready for the surprisingly busy rush that came at the same time we did. They forgot several orders and we had to ask them about it after 15 minutes, and they accidentally tried to give us one order twice. I'd go back, but hopefully during non-peak times. read more
