I asked if I could do 90 min, she said yes. Then I asked for hot stone. Yes. They showed me to room. I like a deep tissue massage normally. But thought I wanted more pampering (that's why I chose hot stone ) the therapist came in asked what kind of pressure I wanted. I said medium. She went pretty deep. I was ok since that is what I normally get. My down side was the hot stone. I don't think she even used them for 5 min. She spent more time massaging my feet ( not a bad thing, but when you pay extra for hot stone, you kinda expect hot stones) Overall I will go back if I'm in the area again. But won't pay for the hot stone again and just get a massage.

Secondly, Devin needs new equipment. It's outdated and not functional. Devin made excuses about not using fancy equipment to be more personal. LIES! She used a step by step application with no deviation as needed - Not personal. Thirdly, Devin asked me 20 million questions: where I'm from, my job, my children, my children jobs, my husband, my husbands job, my mom, my house, and more. Then Devine had the nerve to say "I hope the experience was relaxing," but, how could I have been relaxed with ALL the questions, one after the other. Lastly, she's greedy. Me: I rechecked the website price and saw that Microdermabrasion is $30 and a 45 minutes facial is for $55.00. Can you tell me how you came up with $95.00. Devin: Hello, I recently changed my pricing and somehow this only got updated on our website. Devin: I'm happy to honor that price if you'd like a refund of $10.00 + $5 tip. Me: It's not the money; it's the principle of false advertising. Rather than you honor the price until the website is fixed and or present the adjusted price at the onset, your ethical character is in question. Thank you and have a good day. Devin: I'm sorry! It was honest mistake that I didn't do attention. LIES! It wasn't an honest mistake. She wasn't THAT busy. In fact, she checked my appointment sheet to see if I completed a questionnaire before my service. Didn't she then notice that the prices were incorrect? At the completion of service, Devil looked at me and said $95.00 but claimed the website made the mistake. How could you not know about the mistake? I had Marija, and I could tell that she takes massage seriously and works on her skills. She knows what she is doing and can tell what part of your body needs work and how to release the knots. She is very intuitive and knows just how much pressure to use when she is massaging you. She also has good customer service and communication, which unfortunately not all LMTs have. Let me also mention that I've been looking for a decent massage therapist in the St Louis/Belleville area for like 3 years since I was stationed here. I've tried like 10+ different places and they were honestly mediocre with the exception of like one other independent massage therapist, who I believe moved location. So I kept looking for someone local and found Holistic Massage and Reiki, and this place is a gem. I've had a lot of massages across the states for like 6 years so I am very aware of what constitutes a "good" massage. I feel like a lot of LMTs in the St Louis region got into the business because they thought it was easy money and all they have to do is go through a routine of "pawing" at people, and they have no intuition or deep knowledge of anatomy. Even a lot of LMTs and chains here with "good" reviews were mediocre because no offense but most clients in this area never had an actually good massage. So, understand my frustration. But then I find Marija and not only is she competent and know what she is doing, SHE IS ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD. I am not going to list all the mediocre places in the city and the other side of the river before I found her (since this review is for Holistic, not them) but seriously, don't even bother with the other places, just go to Marija.
