They did such an amazing job, and my friend was moved to tears when I surprised her with it!

There's no place to sit inside, but there are two nice parking spaces out in the front since it's a busy parking lot by a gym. They have several cases of sweet options, cakes that you can customize on the spot, and pastries that are topped fresh to order. They also have so many cake pop flavors. I didn't even know how to decide! The owner, Melissa, was so sweet to me! I asked her questions about the business, and what they do for catering. I love supporting local businesses, especially bakeries because I'm a baker myself. I talked to her about customizing an order for my place of employment in the next couple of months and she was totally on board to customize it how I wanted. Aside for my too good bag, I ended up buying an ube cake pop and a Boston cream tart, and both are out of this world! On Fridays and Saturdays, they do buy one get one free cake, pops, so it's a perfect opportunity to try all of the flavors! Definitely try this place, you will not be disappointed!

So the first time I had went we were going out of town and I dropped off a pocket cake for my sister in law that lives in Buckeye. She said she absolutely loved it. I never got to try it. So i went a second time to order it again and was told they don't have any. Okay...great. So i did a comparison with other places that have similar size tres leches cakes available such as: food city, frosted bakehouse, hunnie butter, crumbl, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and a tres leches cake i made. I'd rather support small businesses to be honest. So was really hoping to snag a cake from here. But not a full size because this was merely for experimenting purposes. Why get a full size when you aren't sure if you are going to like it?? So i posted about our outcomes on my foodie instagram page. The business told me to try the pocket cake but I already am fully aware but was told by the man working that day they don't have them. Which wasn't the same as the ladies working on my first visit. So now i almost want to try calling around to other locations regardless of how convenient this location is being across from my son's school. Just hoping for a pocket cake and better service because service was non existent my second time. Like would have been nice to have any kind of information like oh sorry we don't have them today but try next week or we won't ever have them again try another store???

I tried their Vietnamese coffee with the sea salt cold foam and I added brown sugar syrup to make it sweeter ( I like my coffee on the sweet side ) this was delicious! Loved it! You definitely taste the coffee but in a good way, if you love the taste of strong coffee you'll love this. When I first came here it was around 4PM and lots of their bakery items were sold out and they were done baking for the day since they close at 6PM. So my advice is to come when they open or around noon time to get more of a selection on bakery items. I went again the next day at noon and was able to score more bakery items to try! They were not as empty as it was my first time stopping by! Woohoo! I was able to get the Jalapeño cream cheese and wow yummy!! This one sells out quickly. I also got the salted butter bread and they seem to have this one more often but it also can sell out, it's also pretty good. I was able to get my hands on the choco bun and this has like a gooey chocolate fudge inside and it's almost like a molten lava cake!! I loved it honestly. I warmed mine up in the microwave when I got home for about 5-10 seconds and it was delicious. I got the sugared cream cheese brioche and this was also pretty darn good, this seems to sell out quickly! The Garlic cheese bread is so sooo good too! My son and hubby love this one. The chocolate hazelnut muffin is delicious as well! So many goodies here!! I LOVE their Thai Tea! I get this every time I come here. Their boba is freaking good too. Great flavors! If you have not tried out this bakery I definitely recommend trying it out for sure. The ambiance in here is pretty relaxed and a good vibe. You grab a tray when you walk in and start picking out your goodies! You can also just use the kiosk machine they have to get your drinks too!

There were so many options that it honestly took me a while to decide what I wanted! I really liked the self-serve bakery concept because it lets you browse at your own pace and pick out whatever catches your eye. They have a great mix of both sweet and savory items, along with an extensive drink menu featuring both hot and cold beverages, so there's truly something for everyone no matter what you're craving. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and flavorful. The pastries were light and delicious, and the drinks paired perfectly with the food. You can definitely tell they take pride in the quality of what they serve. The only thing I'd mention is that they don't accept American Express. It wasn't an issue for me since I had another payment method, but it's something to keep in mind before visiting. Overall, this was a fantastic first experience, and I can definitely see why so many people recommend 85°C Bakery Cafe. Between the incredible selection, fresh-tasting food, delicious drinks, and unique bakery experience, I'll definitely be back to try even more of their menu.

Located right next to 99 ranch and other Asian stores, 85c has Asian pastries, cookies, breads and drinks. We enjoyed a few baos with cream filling, a slice of coffee cake and the black milk tea. I usually don't get chocolatey things at Asian bakeries because they rarely "do" chocolate well, and it was the same here: the chocolate chip cookie and black forest cake were only okay and just not rich enough with a cocoa taste. Sign up for their rewards program to get discounts and promotions, even though you have to buy quite a bit to get anything and the points expire. Compared to non-Asian bakeries, everything is a much more reasonable price overall. A few tables are available, though I can imagine it being crowded. Still would love to get an 85c closer to home!

I seriously WISH I could give it zero stars. This place is disgusting and their cakes are a disaster. Went to a birthday party and the cake was ordered from here. The gal who bought the cake told me about the horrible customer service she received. The cake was suppose to be picked up today and no one was answering their phones. After several calls later, the arrangement for pick up was finally made. This is certainly not something I like to hear about cakes places. Now let me get into the actual cake itself. I will say that the outside looked really well done, but once it was cut into, it was an absolute disaster. The cake was super dry and very crumbly. The fondant was chewy and we could hardly cut into the damn cake. The attempt to try to cut the cake into slices completely failed because there was nothing holding the actual cake together. Probably missing ingredients. The white frosted filling was not sweet, but rather tangy. Gross. DO NOT waste your $ here.

I think they are either fake or very old. I have been swindled! I drove my disabled veteran butt that has legs that go numb for an hour to pick this cake up. In Mesa.. where they have no store. They cook it at home in Goodyear (not very far from me). Thanks for wasting my time and gas. I placed a large cupcake and smash cake order.. they said they couldn't take my Groupon but gave me deal. Little did I know it was a scam. In their cancellation policy it says (according to them) that they can keep 50% of your money if you have a discount of 50%. Why would that even been in the contract...unless they are use to people hating their product and that's the only way they can get paid. They claim they are cheapest. I just got a quote for quality cupcakes for less. I went to pick up the smash cake. The pictures are posted. For my Mexican fiesta themed smash cake pictures. Not even close. Plus I was charged an extra $20 for fake dollar store flowers. I thought well hey maybe because the cake is ugly as sin it could possibly taste good. Um no it was disgusting. We threw it away. I drove over an hour away for a cake. I went and bought a cheap and tasty one that I felt safe having my little one dig into for the pictures. I hardly ever give bad reviews. The assistant (daughter to the owner/baker was rude and only started talking to me nicely after I asked about canceling. The owner never has called me back. I will find a way to get all of my money back. I will also make a point to leave a review everywhere I can find and sharing it all over social media about my experience. I will have my friends share it so that it makes the rounds. I have already contacted groupon about this merchant. I am completely disgusted.
