I want to give them 5 stars i totally do. But when you go a second time for the same thing the…read morefirst time and it's inconsistent and then are told diff information from their social media you aren't sure what to even believe. So the first time I had went we were going out of town and I dropped off a pocket cake for my sister in law that lives in Buckeye. She said she absolutely loved it. I never got to try it. So i went a second time to order it again and was told they don't have any. Okay...great. So i did a comparison with other places that have similar size tres leches cakes available such as: food city, frosted bakehouse, hunnie butter, crumbl, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and a tres leches cake i made. I'd rather support small businesses to be honest. So was really hoping to snag a cake from here. But not a full size because this was merely for experimenting purposes. Why get a full size when you aren't sure if you are going to like it?? So i posted about our outcomes on my foodie instagram page. The business told me to try the pocket cake but I already am fully aware but was told by the man working that day they don't have them. Which wasn't the same as the ladies working on my first visit. So now i almost want to try calling around to other locations regardless of how convenient this location is being across from my son's school. Just hoping for a pocket cake and better service because service was non existent my second time. Like would have been nice to have any kind of information like oh sorry we don't have them today but try next week or we won't ever have them again try another store???

I cake on a Saturday and unfortunately the only individual item they had was a tres leches cake like cup. For $4.50, I would buy it again. The cake was nicely soaked, and I love how their whipped cream is a little denser and has hints of cream cheese. Please bring more individual items for purchase!

The mug was really cool and AZ themed, so I had to get it. I picked out some of the cake slices as well as some baked goods! I also ordered the Vietnamese coffee drink and added sea salt and brown sugar. It was delicious but definitely on the sweeter side. I think I would skip the brown sugar next time. When I arrived, they were out of the Berry Tales on the floor which are my favorite. I asked if they had any made in the back and it turns out they'd recently made a fresh batch and were letting them cool. Assunta got me a couple of those and then helped ring up my order. She was very very nice and gave me an extra slice of cake. When I mentioned they were for a birthday, she also gave me some candles and birthday chocolates to put on top. I really appreciated this and can't thank her enough for going the extra mile to provide such awesome service! I love 85, Especially this location in Chandler. Definitely check it out sometime.

I seriously WISH I could give it zero stars. This place is disgusting and their cakes are a disaster. Went to a birthday party and the cake was ordered from here. The gal who bought the cake told me about the horrible customer service she received. The cake was suppose to be picked up today and no one was answering their phones. After several calls later, the arrangement for pick up was finally made. This is certainly not something I like to hear about cakes places. Now let me get into the actual cake itself. I will say that the outside looked really well done, but once it was cut into, it was an absolute disaster. The cake was super dry and very crumbly. The fondant was chewy and we could hardly cut into the damn cake. The attempt to try to cut the cake into slices completely failed because there was nothing holding the actual cake together. Probably missing ingredients. The white frosted filling was not sweet, but rather tangy. Gross. DO NOT waste your $ here.

I also wish I could give NO stars. BUYER BEWARE!!! DON"T GET THE GROUPON. I actually found them…read morethrough Groupon...Where they for some reason not known to me have great reviews. I think they are either fake or very old. I have been swindled! I drove my disabled veteran butt that has legs that go numb for an hour to pick this cake up. In Mesa.. where they have no store. They cook it at home in Goodyear (not very far from me). Thanks for wasting my time and gas. I placed a large cupcake and smash cake order.. they said they couldn't take my Groupon but gave me deal. Little did I know it was a scam. In their cancellation policy it says (according to them) that they can keep 50% of your money if you have a discount of 50%. Why would that even been in the contract...unless they are use to people hating their product and that's the only way they can get paid. They claim they are cheapest. I just got a quote for quality cupcakes for less. I went to pick up the smash cake. The pictures are posted. For my Mexican fiesta themed smash cake pictures. Not even close. Plus I was charged an extra $20 for fake dollar store flowers. I thought well hey maybe because the cake is ugly as sin it could possibly taste good. Um no it was disgusting. We threw it away. I drove over an hour away for a cake. I went and bought a cheap and tasty one that I felt safe having my little one dig into for the pictures. I hardly ever give bad reviews. The assistant (daughter to the owner/baker was rude and only started talking to me nicely after I asked about canceling. The owner never has called me back. I will find a way to get all of my money back. I will also make a point to leave a review everywhere I can find and sharing it all over social media about my experience. I will have my friends share it so that it makes the rounds. I have already contacted groupon about this merchant. I am completely disgusted.

This beautiful little shop feels like stepping into another world the moment you walk in. It's family run, and you can truly feel the love and creativity that goes into everything they make. From cupcakes and tortes to cookies and so much more, every display case looked amazing. They even had gluten-free options, which was great to see. Gabriel welcomed us in and took the time to walk us through all the delicious treats they had to offer. His kindness and enthusiasm made the experience even more special. Since it was our first visit, we were treated to complimentary shortbread cookies -- we chose lavender and rose -- and both were absolutely delicious. We ended up taking home a strawberry brownie, the tuxedo cupcake with dark chocolate and buttercream frosting, a vanilla cupcake, and the limoncello cupcake. Every single dessert was wonderful and beautifully made. This is the kind of bakery you instantly know you'll return to again and again. We will definitely be back!
