Second time in here and I like it! The interior is all decorated for Halloween and is awesome! Wednesday nights aare dollar tacos. Yeah that's right a DOLLAR. Made with ground beef topped with lettuce and tomatoes. They are great! 8.8/10. The salsa is homemade and definitely has a bit of a kick 10/10. The service is great! headed out on a weekend road trip up the Coronado Trail, we needed a place to eat lunch in the Clifton/Morenci area. The internet wasn't much help, but Ray at the Vintage shop in downtown Clifton suggested Michelle's ("good for lunch but don't go after 9 p.m....it gets a bit rowdy"). Stopped at the grey cinderblock building, with a bunch of cars, a few motorcyles and a Clifton Police car. Inside, the space was inviting, a bit 80s deco, but the folks were friendly, it was VERY clean and the service top notch. Within seconds, we had a basket of freshly fried tortilla chips and awesome homemade salsa. Big huge 20 oz. draft beers were only $3.50. we each had a burger -- he a patty melt dripping with cheese and sauce. Me, a cajun spiced burger with as much blue cheese as burger. delish. Get the onion rings. Really. Get the onion rings. Bathrooms were spotless and well appointed. Big screens showed the latest sporting event. a great mix of bikers, cops, local mining folks, a mom and her kid, a few couples and a gal from the local tattoo parlor. all enjoying a good lunch in the middle of nowhere. read more

You'd not necessarily expect a great place like this in the middle of industrial Morenci, but walking into the place and looking at the quaint bar/restaurant atmosphere you're immediately struck by the charm. Then we sat down and ordered the Southwest Chicken Salad and a chicken salad sandwich with fries and were blown away by the quality of the food. Everything tends to be a bit spicy, but superbly delicious. Stop by and you won't be disappointed in the least. 5 stars!! read more

What a rip off! Never in my life have I had a restaurant add 15% gratuity to a "to go" order? This is illegal. Patrons are supposed to be notified in writing if an automatic gratuity is added. The only notification I received is when I got my bill. I will never go there again and I'll make sure to tell everyone I know what unscrupulous actions this restaurant takes. Wanted to take my mother to have a good burger. As we entered the bartender/owner rolled her eyes at us. My mother asked if there was any way to turn off our fan above us because in January, even though the sun is out, it still is cold. The owner put her hands on her hips, gave a loud "ugh" and went to turn them off. She was more focused on the men at the bar. Waited 15 minutes to be taken a menu, 15 minutes to get our drinks, another 15 minutes to take our order, 45 minutes for our food. What a gem!!! Michelle and her staff are awesome!! The food was great! Chicken pasta salad was a large portion of salad, topped with pasta and a sliced chicken breast. The vinaigrette dressing was fantastic with the salad! Great selection of beers and alcoholic beverages. Burgers looked fantastic and the sweet potato fries were spectacular! We stopped in here for a casual birthday lunch with a couple of friends. The bartender was a little stand-offish at first, but warmed right up within a couple of minutes, The place was about 1/3 full, all men. Looked liked construction workers. We were the only gals. The bar and grill was very comfortable and clean. It actually felt like we were in a big city and not Morenci, AZ. A very nice breath of fresh air. We ordered burgers and nachos was actually good and we didn't have to wait very long at all for it to arrive. They also had a nice selection of liquor and beer as well. We stopped at this restaurant while on a motorcycle outing because one of our members works in the mines nearby. The service is very good. They brought us chips and two kinds of salsa - home made and excellent in flavor. I had enchiladas, and the sauce was fresh and home made, as well. Spent a year in Morenci,never ever had a bad time at this great bar and grill. Staff was always fast and friendly,food was great,and beer always ice cold. Can't say enough about the owner Michelle always friendly and works her ass off to make sure everyone is Taken care of!!! Never had a fist fight or an argument when I was there. Waitress was rude and completely disengaged. Not even a hint of a smile and when I asked for more salsa (which is awesome) it was basically a lost cause. Not even a "I'll grab that when I get a second". Finally after the third request it was delivered aka. Spilled on the bar, with a blank stare and some bitching. The service is generally poor in Morenci but this was flat sloppy and unprofessional. The food is pretty good here and I go about once a month. Not deterred just disappointed. read more

The best burgers in town I highly recommend the southwest burger it's spicy good. Great salads, steaks, nachos & salsas. The beer on tap is cold to perfection they serve in on a icy cold mug, I always get a Michelob Amberbock. While riding from Bisbee to Alpine this was the half way point and we needed to stop and cool off. The bar is inviting and CLEAN. Michelle was working behind the bar and was a really cool lady to chat with! Didn't eat on this visit although it smelled great in there... Beer was COLD and conversion was great. Michelle's pretty much sucks. The service is always terrible, the food is mediocre and the atmosphere is what you'd expect from Morenci. The thing that pisses me of the most is that extra fee they charge for "to-go" orders. Who does that? They could make so much more money on all the to-go lunch orders from the mine workers. But because they charge that BS little fee, everyone takes their business instead to Copper Canyon (highly recommend) or the Motel (also recommend). As far as I'm concerned, Michelle's could go out of business tomorrow and I wouldn't even care. read more
