My mission as a violin instructor is for students to grow as musicians and people. Violin is a challenging instrument, but the discipline and confidence that students learn from playing the violin is invaluable. Violin is also the sweetest instrument in the world, and it is a joy to pass on the ancient tradition of violin playing to future generations. I hope to instill a love for the violin and the music one can create with it in all of my students.

History

Established in 2014.

Since October 2014, I have been building my studio and my name as a violinist in Southern NH through traveling to students, teaching out of home, and contracting at Music & Arts. I began my violin training with local NH violin teachers, such as myself, including Susan Joy and Elliott Markow. I was Concertmaster of my college's orchestra for two years, and I continued my violin education through the community division of the Hartt School of Music, the University of Hartford with Dr. Lansdale from 2014-2016. I currently study with Rachael Schlosberg, a doctoral candidate at Boston University. I play with the Nashua Chamber Orchestra and have subbed with local orchestras, including The New Hampshire Philharmonic and the Portsmouth Symphony. I perform regularly with local theater guilds for musical productions and often participate as a violinist in wedding day celebrations. I also perform and record with a folk-indie band called The Doodads and Don'ts. Find us on iTunes and Spotify!

I love the violin, and it is my honor to share my craft with others through teaching and performing and pass on the ancient tradition of violin playing to future generations. I hope to instill a love for the violin and the music one can create with it in all of my students.
