About 6 years ago my colorist moved from my favorite upscale salon in South Beach. When he did he left me in the the most talented hands any woman could ever ask for! In my early thirties I was a brunette with blonde highlights and low lights with a trendy short and difficult cut. From the first moment I stepped into Michelle's private salon I felt like Cinderella! Her assistant makes coffee better than any barrista and will even our a glass of Merlot if I've had one of those extremely long days in the office! From my first color consultation, cut and style, to 6 years later long a espresso brunette with shoulder legnth hair, Michelle has made every transition in my life come out in color and style that even the strongest critics in a corporate environment compliment. Michelle is a true professional and is patient and well educated, staying ahead of the current trends. The salon makes you feel like you are in your own private salon and Andrea Bochelli, French music, Jazz and even a little music from Sex and the City will take you away as her assistant massages your head till you feel like you are in heaven. Although I personally do not do extensions I often arrive after she has completed a set and its in those moments I think....those look so amazing and NATURAL!! Perhaps next year......when I turn 40....I'll transition again. Is it possible to give more than 5 stars? Couldn't even believe the experience I had here. I was so relaxed, and have never felt so confident in a someone before. Michelle made sure to explain everything to me, from start to finish so I knew what was going to happen (I had dark brown hair and I want to start going lighter). Michelle explained to me my current situation with my hair (over processed from old stylists) that we could start slowly going lighter over time, but that we need to work on repairing my current condition of my hair as well. During my shampoo Michelle told me we would do some treatments on my hair that would start helping my hair repair, and she showed me that over time my hair would only get better with proper products and at home care. Not only did Michelle's treatments smell yummy, but my hair felt amazing after! We were able to take my hair from dark brown to a beautiful slightly lighter brown with beautiful caramel highlights, the look totally exceeded my expectations and more! I couldn't be anymore happy with the direction we're going in with my hair, and I can't wait for it to get healthier and lighter too! ps- I bought Michelle's protein treatment she makes and I've been using it for about 3 weeks now, doing all the steps she told me to do and my hair is just getting better right before my eyes! read more

Recently came to the Michelle Antinarella Salon for an extensions consultation, this was my first time considering extensions and after Michelle's thorough consultation and telling me step by step how the whole application happens I decided to move forward with the extensions, also with color. I couldn't be more than amazed with the whole service not only did she achieve the color I've been waiting for someone to achieve for years my hair for once didn't feel damaged at all! Once the color was finished we started the extensions. Not only did the colors she picked match perfectly, it only took Michelle with the help of her assistant about 2 hours to but the extensions into my hair! The service was amazing so precise, and fast. The one on one experience was amazing and so relaxing. They made sure I felt comfortable and taken care of no matter what! A real professional! Came to Michelle the first time a couple weeks ago and she did an amazing job with my color. She was right on target with the overall result I was looking for. The experience was unbelievable it was so personal, and so relaxing. Since its just Michelle and her assistant you really get this one of a kind treatment, all the attentions on you. Michelle and her assistant made sure I felt right at home from the moment I walked in. From the warm welcomes, offering me beverages (the coffee was out of this world), and making sure I was always comfortable. After my shampooing and all the treatments my hair felt brand new, also so relaxed by the head massage! WE can't rave enough about Michelle Antinarella... she is a true professional. . Being new to the area, we relied on the reviews on line and then made an appointment and are we happy we did !!!! My daughter's hair was badly damaged and brassy looking. She loved being a blonde, but never really seemed thrilled with her past color and highlights, even after spending $$$$ on the major colorists in New York. Michelle has done an unbelievable job repairing my overly processed, damaged hair. My hair was a brassy blonde which I hated, and she has been working with me to achieve the beige blonde I want. Along the way she has been treating my hair and my ends have finally stopped breaking off. I hope to have her put in extensions at some point, since she is an artist at that ( I have seen her work on other clients who rave about it). Michelle does beautiful work with color, styling and extensions. I'm from Manhattan, commuting back and forth to Miami, but I ONLY get my hair care with Michelle. She loves her work and you can see that in her delightful personality and the great way my hair always looks. And for me, the big bonus is that I'm a natural red head, and VERY FEW hairdressers know how to maintain and enrich red. I was blessed to have found her. Loved the experience. As a hair virgin (no coloring), I was a little nervous about getting my hair dyed. I have brown hair and asked for subtle and low maintenance ombre highlights (also known as the balayage technique) - it came out lovely.
