BEEFSTEAK!!!!! These folks are doing beefsteak right!! I…read morehave been to a few Beefsteaks in my day, and while salad might be OK, and a little ice cream at the end sweetens the pot, ya gotta bring the Beef! Fercryinoutloud, that's the name of the game, Beefsteak! A little background: Beefsteak is a communal dinner, frequently done as a fund raiser for an organization. It is quite common in southern Passaic County, NJ, and almost unknown outside the area. Teams, churches, civic clubs, and community groups run these dinners as a get together, end-of-season, or kick-off gathering. The menu is Salad, Ziti, Beefsteak, and dessert. There are a few variations, like various cold antipasti like pickles and olives, or at fancier versions a whole platter of nice Italian salumi. The focus is on the Beef itself. the beef is tenderloin, sliced thin, dredged in butter, and served on a really thin piece of Italian bread. The waiter holds a plastic cafeteria tray lined with wax paper, and covered with these little open-faced sandwiches. You grab 2 or 3 off the tray each time the waiter comes by, and the the fun begins. Some guys will just fold the thing in half and eat the meat and bread together. More will eat only the meat, and stack up the bread in front of them, like poker chips. Sometimes, everyone will pool their bread and build a tower/castle structure. Giresi's beef has been really nice quality tenderloin, I am guessing it is the Australian type, based upon the size of it and the prevailing prices. Very tender, mostly medium-rare, and the perfect amount of butter and salt. I have experienced some dry and not salted beef recently, and Giresi's was far superior. The next time you need to organize a dinner, call Giresi and you will not be disappointed!

The crew showed up on time and took care of everything. Not only were they organized, but they left everything clean. Amanda was our waitress and she was phenomenal. We are used to doing everything ourselves, but decided this year we wanted to really enjoy our company. It was strange handing it over to someone else but Amanda ran everything like a well oiled machine. The food was so fresh and our company raved about the pasta especially. Delicious! We will definitely be using them again, as will some of our guests.

We been there several times and have never been disappointed. The venue is huge and is beautifully decorated. Very impressive. Their buffet appetizer was simply very good with a very large selection including offerings brought by our table. There were at least 350-400 people there last night and the sit down dinner was also overall very good. My wife had the chicken franchise, son the beef, and had the salmon. All portions were large. The salmon was a bit dry but good. I realize that can happen when ur feeding 400+ people at the same time. Justin our waiter did a great job and was very focused on doing his best to serve us. I would recommend The Venetian to anyone looking to hold an event. I've been there repeatedly and never left disappointed.

The decor is captivating and subtle at the same time. Now the cocktail hour. Let me tell you. DO NOT eat anything. You will have everything you need and more. My 10yr old was so excited the have pizza for her. The ballroom was decorated like a Bridgerton dance. Breathtaking. Dinner was great but to be honest, I was so full I just took little bites. I took my filet home. The bite I took melted in my mouth. Now the Venetian hour. I was like a kid in a candy store. My 10yr old was skipping around so excited for all the treats. This place lives up to the hype and more. I will never turn down an event hosted here. Shout out to the entire staff. You guys were awesome.

Being a…read morefirst-timer here, I ordered my usual litmus test dishes of chicken tikka masala and saag paneer (the classics), along with goat kolhapuri, butter chicken, and accompaniments of garlic naan and mango lassi. The chicken lollipop appetizer arrived looking the part - hot, crispy, and slightly zesty - but unfortunately didn't deliver on its visual promise. The dough was too thick and the meat rather rubbery, so the execution wasn't up to par. The mains, however, were redeeming. The gravy in the chicken tikka masala was delectable, and we enjoyed this as well as the kholapuri (which we asked for "extra spicy" but was just medium spicy to me - I'm sure others would disagree lol). My child loved his butter chicken. Both dishes featured substantial chunks of chicken. The saag paneer deserves to be mentioned for having a rough-chopped texture that I prefer, looking like actual spinach and not the zealously over-puréed green smoothie so many Indian restaurants inexplicably trot out. A touch over-salted, but otherwise tasty, and with an abundance of paneer. The lassi and garlic naan were both great. Portions are generous, and it's BYOB. Should you forget to bring something inebriating, a liquor shop is conveniently located just a couple of doors down. Owner/manager Austin is so welcoming and personable, earning this place extra hospitality points. I appreciate a business operator who is attentive to customers and shows genuine interest and concern. It makes a difference.

So not only did the staff have to worry about bringing the food out, they had to ensure that each guest had a 4 oz. pour of the beer that was specially brewed to accompany the course. Lisa did a great job coordinating everyone and making sure everything was set up correctly. What I really liked most about JoAnne and Lisa (besides their professionalism) was their enthusiasm. Their staff was also very professional and I was pleasantly surprised by their attentiveness. They were also great at communicating back and forth with questions and issues. They are very attentive. Kathiya really went out of her way to make sure we (Bride and Groom) were always good. She was on top of us with making sure we were fed and on time with the whole event. She brought us food and drinks before everyone cause we were there a little early which was really cool. Can't say enough about the food. Everyone loved it. Our guests are still complimenting about the food. Really made our wedding fun for everyone and they really worked to make our wedding go smoothly from preparation to cleanup. Superb job all around. Thank you!
