This place is excellent if you're craving a delicious michelada and/or shrimp and won't make you wait! She has several styles of michelada and you can customize it based on what you want in it (shrimp, cucumbers) or the amount of mix - The Hangover has DOUBLE! She makes her own mix, and it's the best I've had! There's also party platters available with shrimp and micheladas or "dressed" bottles with the mix on them, so an easy option for parties, and lots of individual food options including elotes. There's also margaritas, piña coladas, mangonadas, and Piñas with cut up fruit made in spicy or sweet style, and you can add any beer or Smirnoff. There are several import beers too, like Indio. It's hard to tell if it's open from the outside because the windows are tinted, but look for the big "open" sign. There's also a drive-through that is really easy to use! It's a perfect unfussy and unassuming gem of a place in a very convenient location! Don't hesitate to try it! read more

Got a mangonada and michelada for the first time last night.. I didn't go in so not sure about service MANGONADA- so happy they opened close to home, I ate the candy that it came with but the drink itself I couldn't enjoy it, for some reason maybe they didn't change their gloves after making other different drinks, but it had a SHRIMP taste!! I couldn't get the taste out of my mouth. Thank goodness I'm not allergic. THE MICHELADA- too much maggi soy sauce.. and tasted watered down. I'll definitely stick to captain toms for Micheladas. When we walked in it did take a minute or two for someone to notice us and come help, but the girl was very helpful by telling me the different micheladas they had since it was my first time going. Came here three different times after and service is weird, it seems like no one but the lady who owns that place knows how to make all the items on the menu.
