I like going to Michael's to buy poster frames. They seem to have a pretty good selection and tend to run sales on them fairly often.

Very helpful staff and you don't have to walk the length of a football field to get what you need.

Very knowledgeable and passionate owner, some pretty creepy stuff in there…read more A must see if you're a military buff, downtown Weatherford is worth the stroll and definitely take time popping in this store.

My 12-year-old daughter and I went to the store today for the first time to look around. The owner…read moregreeted us and was very personable. Almost immediately I found something that I thought my husband would love and the owner and I started talking about the taxidermy chickens, and then chickens in general. We were having a very pleasant conversation about his store and the things that he collects when my daughter commented on some of the military memorabilia that he had. She thought it was neat that he had so many different things. He then started to talk about the military and his involvement in that in the past. The conversation, without my input at all, quickly went from talking about a store to talking about Trump and all of the things he is doing to ruin the country. I let him go on for several moments then realized that this was not a conversation I wanted to be a part of nor did I want to have in front of my daughter. As he continued to speak, he got louder and louder and I didn't care for his tone any longer . We were only there to look around and potentially buy some things. I started to walk back to the place where I had picked up an item to purchase to put it back and told him that you can support someone but not like everything they do or support everything they do. As I was walking back to put the item back in its place, he yelled at my daughter and I to get out of the store and he was exercising his first amendment right to speech. I told him that was perfectly fine and I was exercising my right to not purchasing anything from him. I didn't have any sort of agenda other than looking around a store. My daughter was upset about how he behaved so then I had to explain to her that not everybody shares the same viewpoint and there's appropriate ways to have that conversation. Sometimes it's just best to walk away because we certainly have nothing to prove. I understand this is his store and he can do whatever he wants, but the conversation was not at all provoked by me and very quickly, he turned our shopping experience into something political, which is not what we were looking for. I am only making a review to let people know that if they want to go and have an enjoyable shopping experience, it will probably not be at this particular store. The owner appears to be very politically driven and that's completely fine, but that may not be the type of atmosphere for everyone.

If I could give zero stars. I would. Their selection is always limited with clear isles and nothing…read moregood. Everything is always on sale because they're trying to get rid of the junk they have left. They also don't take tap pay- totally not their fault. So they said they could hold my order which was pretty large and had some stuff I needed desperately to make my husbands very first Father's Day card by hand. I let them know I was a 30 min drive away and they said they'd wait. Upon my arrival they had already put half the items back and made me go on a hunting spree as if it didn't take me long enough to find each thing since the store is one huge maze. I thought I got everything and realized after I checked out that I remembered the one thing that I needed to make tomorrow special. And they told me they closed the registers which I watched them do while I was knocking on the windows before they even did that. And the bill? Not cheap. Didn't even get what I needed but the limited cute stuff was a hand and and arm just go to Michael's

I dont know why this Hobby Lobby in Weatherford does not seem to care about what type of employees…read morethey have walking around their store. Im talking about the very rude and/or abrasive employees. Like the two oldest women there. One has short grey hair and glasses and the other has brown hair and glasses. I've learned to stay Far Away from those 2 if I have a question..which is a disappointing feeling to always have when I go there. On top of that...now they have a young, new employee. Her name is Cheyanne. I was astounded at how she had treated me today while I was trying to look at the greeting cards. Her immediate rude, obnoxious attitude was beyond off putting when I quietly asked her if I could get through to look at the cards. She had a cart to one side, opposite of where I wanted to look..which was fine. But she had 2 small "light weight" plastic bins blocking the isle to the greeting cards. Her response was NOT to say, "oh sure, Im sorry" or "oh sure, let me move these out of your way". No. No...it was to not even look at me, then grab the 2 plastic bins that were blocking the isle and literally tossing them to the side in anger. I suspect the reason why she had the bins in the way, was because she didnt want anyone around her shopping...so she completely blocked off access to the greeting cards on one end. Which makes customers have to go all the way around to the other side, just to get access. All she had to do was keep the 2 small plastic bins on the same side as she was, so customers could get through..no problem. But obviously that was not what SHE wanted. It is really a shame that the Weatherford Hobby Lobby does not seem to want to put more effort into the state of employees that they hire there. This used to be a good store back in the day. But its just slowy but surely gone down hill. Yes, there are some very nice employees, but its the bad apples there that just turn you off to wanting to shop there at all.
