I've been here a few times and spent close to $750 at the store and really disappointed to where I don't ever want to come back. They make you check out by yourself and then computer says that their Ashland florals are on sale for 60% off. However, there's no one to help you when you ring up Ashland floral and it doesn't go on sale on the screen, so you have to call the store to get someone to come help you. I literally had to get on my cell phone and call the store to get someone to come to the front to help me. the person that came to help me was named Ian and was very rude and was correcting me when I said the sticker was yellow instead of white. I was told that if they have a green sticker, they're on sale but if it's a white sticker, they're not on sale but how are we supposed to know that when it's not designated and Ian argued with me that I should've known. The manager was standing right there her name was Noor and I spoke with her afterwards and I expressed how disappointed I was in being treated like that by "Ian" and I asked her if she would appreciate being talked to like that if she were the customer and she said, "no." I doubt I'll ever return to this location. I think we're better off shopping online, especially when they don't train their employees to be professional, respectful, and kind to their retail customers. read more

I am a frequent shopper at this store and often make large purchases for craft items I use to design jewelry, t-shirts, and seasonal holiday items. Much of what I make is donated to a local charity I support. Without going into the fine details, my biggest issue with this store is that no one seems to know anything about the products they sell or can answer simple questions about the merchandise. I am not a professional crafter and occasionally need some help or recommendations concerning what is best to use for certain projects. There is no help, the kids working in the store are clueless and their answer to any question is no one here does that craft. Ok, so now I guess the only good help available are the on line tutorials so I guess I should buy only on line items and stop wasting my time going into this store where no help is available. read more

Warning! Be careful doing a curbside pick up!! They (who I later learned was Bob the store manager) brought my order out and after a moment I noticed it was incomplete. I called the store back and was told if the it wasn't included, it wasn't in stock and wouldn't be on my receipt. But It Was on my receipt, $25 worth. I requested a manager, a lady got on the phone and I explained my situation. She said I would have to speak to a store mgr. Bob, the store manager picked up. He was rude and didn't hide his irritation about my order inquiry. As I was explaining my situation, he interrupted to tell me He was busy with Other customers and would have to get back with me at a more convenient time. Pretty Inconvenient for me, a customer, and costly to not receive $25 of merchandise and deal with a snippy craft store manager. This could have been handled very differently. I'm super disappointed. Hopefully you don't have to deal with Bob. read more

Lots of variety from arts and crafts to picture frames, etc...I was in and out quickly. Line not too shabby. Walmart does not have glycerin or glucose for a fondant recipe I was making so this is my go to place for them:-) read more

I am a huge fan of Michael's! But I'm a crafty mom and this is a great place to get supplies to keep my kiddos busy. Because face it, when they aren't busy ... They whine and fight with each other. No mom wants to deal with that mess. Plus on the weekends, they offer fun arts and craft activities. If you are a good mom, you'd also do it with them. This location has great parking and the layout of the store is easy to remember. They cram a lot in those aisles so be prepared to try to navigate extra displays. Staff aren't always as friendly or aware of sales going on, but for the most part... No issues! read more

I had my husband's old letterman jacket from high school framed at Michael's and was not 100% pleased since part of his football jersey number did not show but Michael's frame department Manger, Brianna, as well as the store manager totally re-did it and it turned out beautiful! The store had its grand opening on Sunday, 07/08. It's relatively small compared to other Michaels store. The smaller size makes it easier to find what you're looking for. The store has all the basics for crafts. They have a nice selection of frames. read more

My family and I are opening up a new restaurant here and we needed to get some beach pebbles to decorate the spot. I didn't have any clue where to get them save for my mother's suggestion to head over here, so that's where I first started to search. Despite the fact that it was after hours the store manager, Samuel, was real helpful and let me checkout since there were a few still in there. He put me on to Lowe's to check since they would have that type of thing in bulk; their bags came in like a 6-8 count which I couldn't do with. Although I didn't buy anything I was still able to get what I needed that night before it was too late, and all in all Samuel was a great help for me. You can find everything here from seasonal decor, everyday decor, framing, scrapbooking, baking, and painting supplies. They almost always have a coupon that's good in the paper, or on most retail apps. They also offer teacher discounts of 10% off anything including sale items. Great location and customer service! Right when I walked in, a sales associate greeted me and asked me what I was looking for. I didn't want to spend too much time looking for what I needed, so it helped that I was able to walk in and out (without being temped by craft supplies). This rating is ONLY for the framing department. Unfortunately my experience with framing was so terrible, I'll never return nor have opportunity to take advantage of the rest of the store. In a nutshell, they damaged my artwork during the framing phase (even after the dept manager promised she had prior experience with my type art and would personally oversee the job). They kept quiet about the damages, hoping I wouldn't notice. But upon pickup, I saw the horrible frame job and requested a refund for the hundreds of dollars paid in advance. They agreed and removed my artwork from frame. I was in total shock when they handed back my painting as the damage was much worse than I'd imagined - they'd tore the edge/corners, smudged some parts of the painting, and there was also a small hole. I literally burst into tears on the spot as my art was permanently ruined and this was something passed down from a close family friend. To make things worse, mgmt/personnel involved seemed indifferent and un-sympathetic. I had to toss the art and to this day, a few yrs later, I still mourn the loss of my painting and would not wish this experience on anyone else who's considering putting their beloved/priceless artwork into the hands of an inexperienced employee only to risk having it damaged. read more

I have experienced better at other locations. I took some newspaper articles about my father being consulted on the Kennedy assassination to be framed. When I picked it up, I was told one of the articles didn't fit as we designed it, so rather than phoning me to make the needed changes, they cut it off and put it in an envelope on the back. I found that out when I picked it up. I don't believe it would have been difficult to call me to come in and make changes. As someone else stated this is only regarding the framing department. read more
