I recently injured my back, both thoracic and cervical, aggravated by extended hours on a computer, along with other spinal problems. Hx. of cervical fusion. I had undergone many hours at doctor's visits, accupuncture, medications which only made me tired, ice packs, heat packs, and laying on my couch. I was getting down, not only able to do things that my husband and I enjoy dong and not able to perform my functions at work . I took short walks only to develop deep aching pain in my rhomboids and paracervical muscles. I used a roller massage on my back, which helped relieve some pain and could target tender areas, but could not hit and direct certain muscle groups.
Then I searched for professional massage and found Michael's massage. Unlike other massages, this massage was a slow direct pressure following each muscle group up the spine. The massage gradually released knots as he moved up the spine. I have had many massages in the past, but none like this. It is specifically, myofascial massage. After the massage, I was able to move the muscles that I injured, the muscles before the massage were like one big knot in my back with pain and stiffness.
At first, we were skeptical to have anyone come into our home, he brings his table to you. He is very professional, punctual, and prices are very reasonable.
I have thrown away my pain pills and muscle relaxers, I am now able to exercise the areas gently without undue pain, and have more energy after my massage yesterday than I have had in weeks.. If people in pain or chronic pain knew what he could do, the pharmaceutical companies would go out of business.
He convinced my husband, who has chronic low back pain to give it a try. He said it helped him feel alot better and believe me, it takes alot to convince my husband. We have shceduled, and will shcedule, routine massages with Micheal to maintain our health and well being.
Thank you Michael! read more
