Hello. I am John. I am a very amateur painter. It's been six hours since I last dabbed paint on…read morecanvas....(there, I said it) If one has a art/craft hobby to feed, one might do far worse than shopping for supplies or ideas than shopping at Hobby Lobby. They keep a vast selection of seasonal items, as well as a nice variety of art and craft supplies, often on sale and covering various price points. Their employees never seem to mind answering questions or helping me locate something, which is a BIG deal in a store with a footprint as large as this location. Even when the checkout lanes are busy, the register people take a moment to make you feel welcome. Yes, I understand that Hobby Lobby isn't 'local' and their corporate stance on certain issues is very inclusive. But the way I see it, is it's their business, and if I didn't like their policies, I can always drive an additional 5 miles over bad roads, pay more, and have a narrow selection choice for my supplies. I figure that every one of those nice people working at H Lobby ARE local, just like me. I like that I can bring my well-mannered dog inside with me, too! That gives me plenty of time to peruse the isles in order to find exactly what it is I'm looking for, or to find something that I didn't know I needed. And Puppo enjoys carefully sniffing all the exotic items while I shop. There's plenty of parking, and space in front for loading bulky items. Plenty of Handicap parking, too! I may be a rank amateur, but Hobby Lobby treats me as though I am a pro!

A crystal store where people expected normal and got something different? Sounds like my kind of place, and now I am SO GLAD I made this choice and took this chance. This place has a very different energy or vibe to it. It's not a cut and clean department store. It's earthy. It's hippy. It's vibing hard. One lady was singing her heart out, walking around the store at random, Another lady was making custom jewelry. Someone was lovingly setting up displays, and another someone was on a watch fixing mystery- asking the others questions and getting input every now and then. later some regulars walked in and were embraced with welcomes and joy. (Prices were not on everything but on quite a bit, they were pricing things as I was there, and honestly it's so easy just to ask) I was greeted upon arrival, and again when I hadn't left an hour later because they thought I'd just come in, it is truly a place to get lost in! Iv honestly never seen such a beautiful and immense selection of crystals, oddities, and rocks. They had me at hello- the entrance was amazing. The prices were fair. Huge selection of beads, spheres, rings, raw and polished crystals, magnets, necklaces, animals, and ohhhhh my the salt lamps! Iv never seen so many all at once! Tiny to giant- they were a sight! Plants were scattered around the space, I didn't even have time to explore the cases of jewelry. I could have easily spent another 3 hours here. I had to drive and get to a Halloween party for my son though so the visit was cut short. I will be back without a doubt, every time I'm near. A literal gem that is worth any drive. He told the sales lady that "you don't want to fool with that kind of person" and proceeded to call her all kinds of names. He then went into a political tirade. Mind you there were multiple customers in the store. As is my right, I'm not doing business with a company who tolerates this type of unprofessional rude behavior. They are free to treat their customers as they wish and I'm free to go somewhere else.
