When I would say I wanted something done down the road, he wouldn't push it. Also, Tom has great ideas like when we asked for a boarding gaming table which could be covered with leaflets. He also took into account our budget with some of my bigger ideas for the house. In all things pricing, he was very fair but conscious of his quality of work. Tom provides invoices for his service via email. He soon will be accepting cards as payment (available around 1/21/2020). Also, his wife provides great décor for a reasonable price if you are looking to spruce up your home after his remodel/handyman work. The biggest project involved installing new boards on my second-story deck, creating a header and gate to the roof, a gate to the stairs, rebuilding a stairway and landing, and lattice and staining for a finished look. Since the initial install, Small Town has done some repairs and went in to reinforce the deck with more robust 6 X 6, concrete footers, other repairs, and darker stain. Other projects have included scraping and painting in a bathroom, repairing double-hung windows, and installing French doors. They have removed floor tiles, and removed old worn-out furniture from the house as well. All along, Small Town has been fantastic to work with, communicative, and reasonably priced.
