The staff was so nice and so helpful. They quoted me a price on a specific set of logs, and then when those turned out to not be in stock, they extended that price to me. They didn't have to do that, and I wouldn't have even thought to ask, but they offered to honor the other price, even though it was several hundred dollars difference. Our logs have completely changed our enjoyment and use of our fireplace. Before, it was truly just wasteful to run our fireplace, as all it did was create ambience. Now, you can feel the heat coming from these logs within moments of lighting them. The whole room gets warm immediately, and it has just made all the difference in our living room. I will soon replace the logs for the other fireplace as well, and wouldn't dream of using anyone but Rick's.

Upon receiving the bill, the time billed was well over the time the Technician was working on the pool. I challenged this with detail to the time he was here. In response I was nonchalantly told that the distance to my residence from their office was 'such a long drive' (Norman to NW OKC) so the time to get here was included. It was very easy for them to casually demand that after the fact, but apparently hard to think that was a cost customers should be aware of upfront. As I had been taking cost estimates from other providers for this job, this omission deceptively skewed their cost profile against their competition. As far as I'm concerned, they employed deceptive pricing and all around poor businesses practice. Will not recommend to anyone on a moral basis.

I replied, "I'm not looking for technical support; just some assistance with a search." As requested by the lady (??), I provided the model# and was put on hold. Another lady (??) came back on the line and began berating me and told me I was being rude to the other lady (??). Neither of them were helpful in any way; they, obviously, couldn't be bothered to help anyone who wasn't an existing customer. The response from the "President" is fraught with LIES!! I didn't say they 'should' be able to help me, I said I thought with them being in the industry they would have better resources to provide assistance. When the "President" got on the phone I told her I had already given the Model # to the other person. That is when SHE told me I had been rude to the first person and told me she thought it best I go find my answers somewhere else. She stated that we don't typically provide any (TECHNICAL) support for fireplaces we didn't install. We do this for several reasons, including liability and the fact that we are a for profit company. She said she'd see what she could find out and transferred the call to me (the President). I answered the line and asked what I could do to help you. After three (I was only asked ONCE and told them I had already given the model# to the other person) attempts to get your model number to assist, I felt it best to end the call. At every turn you did not want to provide me with the information to help you but instead, you wanted to tell me about how you felt we were not taking care of you. Every request (ONLY ONE REQUEST WAS MADE) was met with a disgruntled comment (LIE, LIE, LIE) and wasn't productive. I stated that it was best that you look elsewhere for the information and hung up the phone.

They sent a report after a week only after I called to say I never got the report. The report is missing the actual written report on the chimney. It has a cover page, a disclaimer page, and a couple pages of pictures.
