I wasn't sure what the vents all around my fireplace were about, the fireplace inspection before I bought the house didn't mention them (or that they were part of the fan system that was broken), and the 2nd guy that came out to fix part of the bricks didn't know what they were about. But when I called Southwest Sweepers the woman who got back to me easily told me that they were vents that helped circulate the warm fireplace air into the house, and Curtis was able to find a new fan to replace my broken one, and install the light switch to turn it on & off. I'm all set to heat my house if the power goes out now!

He went into the attic an liked around, then the heater cycled. I said "that's the sound I was telling you about." He poke at several spots and the sound stopped. I really wanted to give this company the opportunity to make things right, but unfortunately I was…read moredisappointed multiple times. The original cleaning did not provide what was promised. Before-and-after photos were also supposed to be provided, but only before photos were taken. This was especially frustrating because the after photos would have documented the condition of the home when the cleaner finished and the areas that were left untouched. After I raised my concerns, I was offered a complimentary touch-up with a different cleaner. Unfortunately, the replacement cleaner had to leave early because her boyfriend needed the car, so once again the cleaning was not completed as promised. What disappointed me most was that after all of this, the owner never followed up to see if the issue had actually been resolved. After paying $210 for the original service and giving them another opportunity to correct it, I still did not receive the service I was promised. I really wanted to be able to recommend them, but this was a huge disappointment and ultimately a waste of money. I would recommend looking elsewhere.
