There is also a selection of Kniter's Pride needles which is a welcome sight for Corpus.There's also a limited supply of notions. If you are into needlepoint, you can find hand painted canvases along with a variety of needlepoint yarn/thread. Aside from yarn, none of the items items I picked up had prices which was anoying. I've honestly never been disrespected more in my life than my trip to Auvil's…read more I came into the store with my wife and two gentlemen were at the front talking to each other, when I'm guessing the one who worked there asked if he could help us. I told him "no, we are just looking around". My wife and I made our way through the store, and upon going towards the back we noticed an open door to what seemed to be another room with merchandise neatly displayed with prices so we assumed it was merchandise for sale. We were in there for about 30 seconds when the employee from the front came back into the room and said very aggressively "can I help you?". I told him once again no that we were just looking around. He then again aggressively told us "well if you aren't talking money you need to get up out my store, I don't have time to waste with y'all". We then fearfully made a quick walk to the front door and left. It seemed like there is some kind of illegal activity going on in the back of the business and we stumbled upon something that we weren't supposed to see.
