She had a gorgeous selection in tons of different colors, and was able to liven up visit with fun anecdotes about her shop, her knitting, and her own person while she wound up over a kilometer of yarn we had purchased with no fuss. I left with three hanks of hand-spun and -dyed yarn after extensive deliberation. I knew for certain I would never step foot in a Jo-Ann again. The environment inside feels more like an eclectic knitter's home than a shop. Draping shawls hang from the ceilings, wrapped around the furniture, alongside a plethora of beautiful yarns of all colors. Debra's yarn comes in small batches, but yarn from the same batch is never the same--each skein is unique, some even featuring multiple materials bound together. The speckles of color bring life to the knitwear scattered around the room. Even with the diversity of the yarns, there's something cohesive about Debra's creations. I purchased three skeins of superwash merino yarn. They are not only beautiful, but are soft and stretchy as well, perfect for any project meant to be worn (or anything else, if I'm honest--they're fantastic.) The unique blends of colors pop in my stash, and even the solid is gorgeous. If you're a knitter in the Sarasota area--or even just visiting--Picasso's Moon is a must. I came back only to be told by the old grumpy guy they were refusing to do business with me because I mentioned I purchased my newest rc from Amazon. Now I woke up early and wasted my time and gas money driving from fort Myers to Cape Coral dropped off my parts for work and wasted 20 minutes of my time grabbing coffee while waiting for what I thought was a soldering job. Buddy soldered half of one connector out of 3 total connectors I needed soldered. They so desperately claim they need people like me's business to stay open but then refuse service how ironic. Very glad I didn't spend over $3,000 in Traxxas rc's from this shop. I will never be returning to this store and I will be informing my fellow hobbyists that my previous praises for this shop have been retracted and to stay away at all costs. Family hobbies in naples although a further drive knows how to treat their customers!
