She also has an in-house hair/makeup artist which makes for a relaxing seamless experience. As an African American woman, I was somewhat hesitant that the makeup artist would not have products to match my skintone but that was not a problem at all. Her MUA, Stephanie, was great and my makeup turned out wonderful! I was also not feeling hesitant about posing, but Angi is so hands on and makes you feel comfortable. My photos turned out excellent! I decided to hire her for our yearly family portraits, which we have never done anywhere but in a photo studio. So, this was very different for us; I found her reviews on Yelp and after interviewing her briefly decided to hire her. It was a TERRIFIC decision. She truly is a natural light photographer and captured raw organic moments with my husband, two sons, and my parents so well that one in particular photo she captured when she took my son aside on her own brings me to tears (of joy) every time I look at it. I cannot say enough good things about Angi except HIRE HER- NOW!

We couldn't be more thrilled with how easy the process was and how beautiful her photos turned out. She was so careful with our new baby (first) and we felt beyond comfortable with her working with him in her studio. We came back again for a mini-session for Mother's Day which was so special and a priceless chance to catch those photos you want, but never seem to be able to get yourself. As a Mom, I find I have tons of snaps of my son with everyone else, but none of just the two of us. It was great to have that chance to get those action snapshots and we look forward to doing more mini-sessions with Heather over the years. We recently also did my son's One Year pictures and Cake Smash. She provided great information ahead of time so we knew exactly how to prepare before the shoot and what to expect. She had wonderful design ideas and took our ideas and desires into account from the beginning. My son seemed to be a bit shy around new people, very active and was more interested in the blackberries than his (delicious!!) cake. Despite this unpredictability in a toddler, Heather was able to work with him during our session to get amazing shots and catch those smiles that we will treasure for years to come. Her process of online photo review and downloading is easy and seamless. It was very easy for me to share with family and get things distributed and ordered right away. We look forward to working with Heather for all our family photos for years to come. She and her family are such a treasure to have in our community.

The hardest part is choosing between all of the gorgeous photos at your gallery viewing. Every image, album, print, card, and canvas I have purchased has been a work of art and I am proud to give them and display them in our home. In saying all of this, she was our only choice for our vow renewal last May. Needless to say it was a very special day for us and she captured it beautifully. From big moments to the smallest handmade detail, it is all there. There are so many moments and emotions in these pictures, sitting down with my album I am able to re-live one of the most meaningful days of my life in clear vibrant photos. We are so very happy we made the investment with JH Capturing Creations Photography. We placed our trust in Julizza and her amazing God-given talent and she did not disappoint. Brides, you probably won't wear your dress again. Food and cake are eaten and gone and you are only renting your venue. Photos are the only thing from that day that lasts! These are for you, your families, and children to have and treasure forever. It was THE MOST IMPORTANT thing to me for that day. In choosing Julizza , I made sure they would be photos worth treasuring. I would make that same choice all day long, lol! Thank you JH Capturing Photography for being such a big part of our lives :) We truly appreciate you!

This is a full service photographer, don't confuse it with the mall photo booths…read more We started working with Kat Mack in late 2017 as we were shopping for someone to do a bucket list photoshoot my wife wanted. Since the shoot involved body paint it obviously had to be someone she was comfortable working with as many of those were fabric free. We met with Kat for a consultation and spent sever hours working on the details for the shoot. Time well spent in the quality of the final product. On shoot day we scheduled the entire day. Kat coordinated with a hair & makeup artist and a body paint artist - we were pleased with both. Kat's assistant also helped with the various housekeeping duties involved with staging and a half dozen wardrobe changes. Our shoot was smooth and well put together, her entire operation was coordinated and adapted to delays as necessary thru the day. Working with her for edits which required multiple iterations she was patient and very accomodating. Great quality takes time folks, it cannot be rushed so keep that in mind and factor into your photo projects. When quality and fantastic customer service is required this studio is the place to go.
