The dealers are professional and help add to the fun and social vibe of the club. They have been helpful by guiding the novice players that sometimes come with me in the procedures of the game so everyone has fun regardless of experience. In addition to the room manager there is always an employee there to assist players with chips, food runs, beverages etc... The owner goes the distance by providing complimentary beverages and often a great spread of food and snacks. Often there are trays of fajitas, lasagna or sandwiches for the members. Rounderz seems to be the place for late night poker action. As games break up in other places in town, everyone heads to Rounderz. I love this as I am a night owl! Other than poker there are many computer based slot style games which seem to be quite popular although that is not my thing so I am not reviewing that. In Corpus Christi there are several really nice cardrooms. The great thing is that it is well worth the drive for out-of-towners to come and visit our beautiful city and enjoy some of our wonderful poker games.

They pack a lot of gambling action into a small space, but not so much that it produces a cramped vibe. There are various slot-like machines on computers that pay out at random intervals, an event that patrons get very excited for, and also some other alternative gambling arcade-like games to play if slots are not your speed. I showed up to play poker, and they kick off the action with a rinky dink $20 re-buy tournament to promote action, and boy does it. After the brief tourney, cash games started and the action was very good. The owners of the establishment were polite and made sure I was comfortable at all times, since it was obvious I was not a local and even more obvious that I was the youngest one in the room by about 20 years. All in all, a solid place in my book and I will certainly return.

We…read morethought it would be easier to use a golf cart to get the family down there with all of our stuff. That's why we rented a six seater. In hindsight, we really didn't need it. My son and his wife always chose to walk with the baby. My wife rode in it once with me and all of our beach stuff. My youngest son and I took it to the beach about three times. I don't regret renting it, and would do it again. Why? I really liked driving up and down the beach. I am an amateur wildlife photographer. I would ride to where there were a bunch of birds, stop to take pictures, then go look for another area. We had some confusion at first. The rental owner accidentally gave me instructions for using her personal golf cart that was locked in the garage. We had added an extra day to our stay, so we didn't use it the first day. Then while we were out and about the next day, our beautiful six-seater was delivered. I texted Keith at the number he put on the delivery email. Within minutes he responded with the correct information for finding the key and instructions for driving the six-seater. Returning the cart was simple. I cleaned it up, replaced the key in its spot, and texted "DONE". We got a message on the way back to San Antonio saying we were all clear. I texted Keith to ask about the gas, since I didn't fill the tank. He just asked me to Venmo $15 to cover it. Here is my only concern: I hope I don't find myself going viral on the Internet. I must have looked like a nutcase speeding up and down the beach laughing like a lunatic with every bump. I never in my wildest imagination thought a golf cart on the beach would be so exciting!

We caught our limits on Black Drum and Speckled Trout, and even got 2 Redfish (we overhead on the radio that no one else was catching Reds that week). Our great day was due to his expertise, assistance and let's be honest - patience with us (as we don't fish often). He had some great spots already known to him in the bay and knew exactly what kind of bait to use for each fish to maximize our potential. We went fishing at the end of June 2026 just for reference, and overall our half day was just perfection and we would happily recommend him to anyone looking for a fishing charter in the Port Aransas area. www.https://islandboycharters.com/

It's crazy, you have 100 carts just sitting there and 20 other cart rental places with almost as many sitting, and you won't budge on an off season price. I don't understand why you would rather they sit and earn you zero income, versus making a deal and getting some cash money, in an off season time period. So we rented elsewhere.
