They tried to change the battery, but the watch still wouldn't work... they told me that the watch was "totaled" and beyond repair. They were the only people to have ever opened the back of this watch. I took it up to Chester's in Parma, and he immediately asked if someone else had worked on the watch before. He showed me that "whoever" tried to change the battery had ripped out a few components, actually showing me what the missing pieces were... Don Basch broke my watch, then claimed it was unfixable. Chester fixed my watch same-day, it's working again! Not giving 1 star because the storefront is nice and clean, people are friendly, and they did a good job cleaning my wife's wedding ring.

I went back into his shop on Monday and he explained what the coins were worth (at market rate). He was also very upfront and transparent on his fees (which ended up being around 10%). Everything seemed reasonable so I proceeded forward. He wrote me a check and kept the silver and the transaction was complete. It couldn't have been any easier. His shop was modern, clean and well organized. He was professional and polite through the entire process. In all a very positive experience and I recommend his service. For years they replaced my battery and pins in the band, always telling me that its not the pins, but the hole had widen and it will keep falling out.
