I called SCE and they informed me that I was using to much electricity for a single person living in a 1200 sq foot cottage. They asked what I was running 24/7. It was the pool and light timer. The pool light went on every night 6-11 unabiling me to do anything manually. Compiling electric bills and back and forth emails no help, ZERO to the point where she will not reply to issues with the home. The pool man allowed me to look at the timer, yes the filter was running 24/7 for 5 months. It has been concluded that the pool and my cottage use the same meter. This fact is not in my lease, never discussed or disclosed. An extra $200 a month is something I would of had to consider to make the move. Now I have taken control of the pool timer. Running it the hours that SCE has recommended. I'm nervous and anxious that I may be asked to leave because I continued to press on this situation. There's unexpected tension that makes me uncomfortable. Something that has nothing to do with me. I needed help to figure it out, I could not, not pay my utilities (bad credit, no air conditioning) the anguish have become too much. Arguing with the poolman (who has a key, not comfortable with) now. If im responsible for the bill we have to do it this way to save me money I've told him. The pool is not my problem! IT HAS NOW BECOME MY PROBLEM!! In the signed copy of my lease there is no mention of the pool. I have been fraudulently misrepresented and now being harassed.
