I purchased my home here in Palm Coast, FL on Oct 18, 2021. I met a lot of contractors to do the work, and finally chose to hire Jose Collado (AG Construction aka AG Pavers) after doing a lot of research for the best option. Since I was new to the area, I relied on past review history and am so glad I hired Jose. Check him out on home advisor/Angie's list. His crew and work staff were timely, respectful, and did a very good job. He oversaw quite a few projects: Pavers - patio, porch, side, and pathway around garden (completed October) Flooring entire interior (completed October) Interior and Exterior Painting (completed October) Master and Spare Bathroom updates (completed February) Lighting throughout house (completed October) Kitchen /laundry room renovation (completed February) Lots of other little add-ons were also done, I can't begin to list them all! The few delays we had were due to delays in receiving bathroom and kitchen cabinets, but workers were super at planning around it. When I look back and consider what was becoming a new norm - all the crazy supply issues, and ability to even find good workers, I am amazed how blessed I was to see it all get completed within four short months. Jose's crew began work 10/20/2021 and had it all done by February! Jose was a great communicator and easy to work with. He helped oversee an excellent group of guys who all worked to make my Palm Coast house a "brand new" and cozy home. These guys are honest and work to complete satisfaction. And if you live here I'm sure you've heard or have had challenges with contractors at some point. You know what I'm talking about...they don't call you back, they don't show up and they do work that requires re-work and you're left holding the bag. I can tell you without a doubt Roberson's has set a new bar when it comes to bucking those trends. Read on... Several weeks back I noticed some water stains in a bedroom closet. With the roof being less than 10 years old I was shocked I had an apparent leak. Being a DIY'r I thought I could fix it myself. But it wasn't clear where the leak was originating and it was in an area where several roof lines meet. It was just after Hurricane Irma and I knew roofers would be slammed and likely cherry-picking the most lucrative jobs. I called at least a half dozen roofers, left voicemails, emails you name it. Roberson's, a family owned local business, followed up within 24 hours and explained they would love to help if I could just be patient as the hurricane had them doing some major repairs already. I said it wasn't a problem but frankly wasn't expecting them to follow-up given my past experiences in Florida. Well, not only did they follow up but showed up on time, did a complete diagnosis of the likely culprit (poor gutter install & water backing up under shingles) and provided a written estimate that was both fair and reasonable. The one other roofer that came by spent 5 minutes with me and provided an estimate that was more than double Roberson's. They were clearly taking advantage of people post the storm - look them up they have a 3 letter abbreviation company name. Oh and they would NOT under any circumstances guarantee their work! I said, so if you go in to a brake shop to have your car's brakes fixed how would you feel if your car didn't stop? He laughed. I didn't. I understand roof repair folks can't guarantee someone else's work but not your own work? I accepted Roberson's contract and they showed up on time (on the dot actually) did a quality repair and I've had zero issues with the roof. They also said if there was a problem in that area again they would come back and make it right. WOW. I was blown away. With a little patience and communication its behind us thanks to Roberson's. I would highly recommend them as they are truly bucking the trend of bad contractor experiences. Thank you Roberson's!

I was having a problem deciding on the roof color, so Rolando asked me which ones i was thinking about. He then sent me addresses that corresponded with the different roof colors. That really helped because what I thought I wanted didn't look like what I thought it would. I was able to pick the one I really liked, seeing it in person. Everything was top notch. Rolando even coordinated with Waynes solar to take our Solar water heater panel taken down just before their start. Angel oversaw the project from beginning to the end and was great! He sent us photos of the work in progress the entire time. The workers were amazing and the little lady they had going around, keeping tarps in place and picking up any debris was very sweet. Sadly I have to concur with that sentiment. Roof leaked at the seam after the first rain...wasn't properly sealed. Was actually raining in my kitchen. Terrible customer service follow up. I would NOT recommend. Even though they came back quickly to repair it and it has not leaked since, I have lost faith in them. Also, the damage done to the paint in my house was never repaired. Very disappointed.

We evaluated all bids, and went with EZ Roofing as they use the best quality shingles and the bidder (Grant) seemed very straightforward with us about what was needed (new impact-resistant skylights as well). He also provided guidance (when asked) on a good color for the shingles based on our brick and outside paint color, and he was spot on! The roofers started early each day and did excellent work, finishing the job in a little over 2 days. Our neighbors all commented on how nice the house looks with the new roof and one of the neighbors plans to contact EZ Roofing because of it. I highly recommend them and would hire them again. (Note - I am especially appreciative of Holly who kept us in the loop throughout the bid, scheduling, and then follow up on the day of and the inspections afterwards.)
