I purchased my home here in Palm Coast, FL on Oct 18, 2021. I met a lot of contractors to do the work, and finally chose to hire Jose Collado (AG Construction aka AG Pavers) after doing a lot of research for the best option. Since I was new to the area, I relied on past review history and am so glad I hired Jose. Check him out on home advisor/Angie's list. His crew and work staff were timely, respectful, and did a very good job. He oversaw quite a few projects: Pavers - patio, porch, side, and pathway around garden (completed October) Flooring entire interior (completed October) Interior and Exterior Painting (completed October) Master and Spare Bathroom updates (completed February) Lighting throughout house (completed October) Kitchen /laundry room renovation (completed February) Lots of other little add-ons were also done, I can't begin to list them all! The few delays we had were due to delays in receiving bathroom and kitchen cabinets, but workers were super at planning around it. When I look back and consider what was becoming a new norm - all the crazy supply issues, and ability to even find good workers, I am amazed how blessed I was to see it all get completed within four short months. Jose's crew began work 10/20/2021 and had it all done by February! Jose was a great communicator and easy to work with. He helped oversee an excellent group of guys who all worked to make my Palm Coast house a "brand new" and cozy home. These guys are honest and work to complete satisfaction. We evaluated all bids, and went with EZ Roofing as they use the best quality shingles and the bidder (Grant) seemed very straightforward with us about what was needed (new impact-resistant skylights as well). He also provided guidance (when asked) on a good color for the shingles based on our brick and outside paint color, and he was spot on! The roofers started early each day and did excellent work, finishing the job in a little over 2 days. Our neighbors all commented on how nice the house looks with the new roof and one of the neighbors plans to contact EZ Roofing because of it. I highly recommend them and would hire them again. That was 3 days ago. Left messages at the office. No help. I called and at first I asked for storm shutters, however, the man I spoke with thought a high impact window would serve my needs better. Measurements were taken, the permits obtained and the window ordered with an estimate of 2 months, or possibly more, to get the project done. I am so happy to report that exactly 2 months later Jeff and Jay showed up and it was a real pleasure working with them. The installation took less than a day and because I named my new quiet/safe room "Heaven," you can guess I am very delighted with the outcome. They have been around a long time and definitely the best in the area! A real delight working with all to achieve exactly what I wanted. Highly recommended! I had Hunter come by and spoke to him and I looked up the reviews and I felt comfortable paying a $23,000 deposit. The permits for the HOA and the Orange County came in very fast and they literally scheduled us within two weeks. I was extremely pleased with the crew. They showed up every morning at 6:30 in the morning and they left at 7:30 at night and it took about two weeks. I had a major concern with the open-ended nature of the contract regarding extras, but we were able to work it out in a very nice fashion with compromising respect. After they were finished the Orange County roofing inspector came and borrowed my ladder to go up on the roof and said it's the best roof he's ever seen. I have been through several heavy downpour and so far no leaks so I figure it's good for many years. A couple of things needed to be finished up and they came back and finished everything up with a very professional fashion. I was so pleased. I fed them every day. I would highly recommend this company. Hunter and Jim answered all my questions in a very timely fashion both before during and after which is a big deal to me. It's not always just money while that is a big concern, but also customer service.
