I was very disappointed with the lack of customer service I received from this business. If I could give zero stars, I would. I had placed two orders with this flower shop; one to be picked up on 8/2, and the other on 8/11. I said I'd pick up the first order at noon, but I was running late and got there a little after 1. I didn't think this would be a problem because the posted closing time on Saturday is 2PM. However, when I arrived at this shop there was a note with summer hours saying they close at 1. This business had my phone number but made no effort to contact me. When I had placed my second order, I knew that they close at 2pm on Monday, I asked if it would be possible to pick it up at 3:30, when I get off of work. I was told someone would be there. Sure enough, I arrived at 3:30 and the store was closed. If a business is going to change their operating hours in the summer, it might be a good idea to change it on their website and social media pages. If you want to order flowers, find a store that keeps their word. read more

Our family in Virginia was hit with COVID the day we were to travel to PA to celebrate Easter with grandparents. It was so upsetting. I quickly searched to send flowers and although some area florists had nice pictures, the websites were not easy to navigate and left me with questioning my confidence that my family would actually receive what I was buying. Then Michael Thomas popped up on Yelp and I remembered they did my wedding flowers over 20 years ago. Not only are they still in business, they delivered an arrangement that was definitely much more spectacular than the picture on the website! Plus, it was delivered within 2 hours of me ordering on-line! I can't tell you how much I appreciate the consistently wonderful quality and craft that you get from this establishment. Several years ago I used to order flowers for my wife from Michael Thomas due to their excellent quality, variety, and ability to pull off great looking arrangements with little notice. Then prices started going up, the availability of certain flowers (non-red roses, stargazer lillies, etc.) became hit and miss and the arrangements started looking a bit dowdy. After a few less than stellar arrangements with flowers that either were dying the day of delivery or within the first 36 hours I took my business elsewhere to another florist that actually takes care of you and delivers vibrant and alive flowers the first time. read more

Long time customer. Sent a photo of the very specific type of arrangement we wanted to express our undying love for this special man. What was delivered was embarrassing beyond belief. The family displayed it prominently in deference to their mutual respect. I do NOT typically write negative comments about any business. Not my style, however, in this case, I couldn't even think to take a photo of what was delivered, which I should have done. I was so appalled to have our names associated with this monstrosity. Seriously, if you want to extend your love to someone using floral displays, whether they've passed on or are still in your lives, make sure that they will not cheap out their work. Ordered flowers while I was on the road to my daughters graduation. The woman on the phone was so helpful!! She asked what my price point was, and what I was thinking - my only direction was "big and pink." When I arrived, the bouquet was a beautifully arranged assortment of all pink flowers (different shades) already wrapped and ready to go! I purchased two dozen Gerbera Daisies from Michael Thomas Floral for my wife for Easter. After the first day, the flowers begin to die and by the second, almost all of the flowers were dead. While I don't think flowers should last forever, they should certainly last more than a day or two. It was incredibly disappointing to buy flowers for my wife and have them die so quickly. I contacted Michael Thomas Floral several times via both phone and email regarding a refund for the dead flowers and left several messages, but I never received a return call. Unable to reach the florist, I opened a dispute with my credit card company. A week later, I received an email from Michael Thomas Floral. They apologized for not having time to call and said they would either replace the flowers or give me a credit. I responded back the same day and said that I would like a credit for the flowers back to my original form of payment. Instead of the credit, I received an email from Michael Thomas Floral a couple of days later asking why I was disputing the credit card charge when they had agreed to provide a credit. I responded that I had opened the dispute prior to receiving their email and I would be happy to withdraw the dispute once I received a refund. Once Michael Thomas Floral saw that the credit card charge had been disputed, they reneged on her promise to credit my account because I had disputed the charges after not hearing from them for a week. Michael Thomas Floral has tried to justify their transgression by stating that I first contacted them a week after the flowers had been purchased, which is not true, and claiming that the flowers died because they were not stored properly, which is also not true. It's shameful how this company will go to any lengths to avoid providing a rightfully deserved refund. I bought flowers that died within a day or two of being purchased. I contacted the business and the business said they would provide a credit then reneged on that promise. Michael Thomas Floral is an unethical company with horrible service, and I will never do business with them again. read more

I just want to thank Michael Thomas Floral for the beautiful flowers I had at my wedding at Blue Grillhouse Nov 28, 2015. The bridal bouquet was so beautiful with the ivory satin ribbon wrapped on the bottom! I absolutely loved it and so did everyone else. I had forgotten to have my bouquet, my husbands boutonniere and my Mothers corsage delivered to my Mom's house that morning and they delivered everything the minute I got off the phone with them in time for me to take a limo and meet my photographer at Lehigh University! I really appreciated that. Most importantly, Michael knew exactly what I wanted when I ordered the flowers beforehand, I gave him a few swatches from my dress and the flower girl dress, and he did an amazing job.
