Great day in Dolores and awesome rum and coconut!!! Service was great and he's always got people coming up. Drinks were very strong and coconuts were fresh. If you buy multiple you get a discount so definitely a good group choice. Definitely visit Michael for your day in Dolores!!

you put the rum in de coconut :3

Michael's generous and kind cousin Charlie is currently hacking open deliciously fresh young coconuts in Dolores Park while Michael is in Hawaii! Grabbed two coconuts filled with a LOT of rum from him for $15.00 today. :9

    Delicious !!

If you're going to Dolores park, you MUST get a refreshing drink from Michael. He opens a fresh coconut in front of you to drink from. Great pricing and super refreshing on a hot, sunny day. Would recommend many times over!! Enjoy :)

I also love how quick the service is - I never have to wait more than a minute for my order! The food is also always pipping hot. My regular orders on rotation (I'd give them all 5 stars!): Chicken Momos ($14) - Comes in 8 pieces. The dumplings are large, flavorful, with the perfect skin-to-meat ratio. It is served with Bini's spicy tomato cilantro sauce on top; the sauce is delicious with just a slight/mild kick. Vegetarian Momos ($12) - Comes in 8 pieces. Vegan dumplings filled with tofu, carrots, & cabbage. Also served with the spicy tomato cilantro sauce on top. I love how clean yet tasty this is! Vegetarian Combo ($18) - Comes with 4 vegetarian momos and one veggie side served on top of fragrant basmati rice. For the sides, I love the Baigun Bharta, a tomato-based braised eggplant. It's saucey and pairs extremely well with the rice. The only reason I'd dock off half a star for this combo is the price. You can also mix and match the momos. For a more balanced meal, I request half chicken and half vegetarian ($14). Bini's also has a stand outside the Ferry Building every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. I'd like to give a shoutout to the Bini's servers at the Ferry Building - they're very generous & usually give me 9 pieces of momos whenever I ask for half chicken and half vegetarian (usually 4 chicken & 5 vegetarian).

Instagram and Twitter also aren't updated, so I don't know how to get my Kettlepop fix. I caught them for the Civic Center holiday tree lighting ceremony on a Wednesday. I returned back to the farmer's market the following Wednesday and asked the workers and there was no Kettlepop stand at that market. (I've been going to that farmer's market for 2 years and haven't seen it, so it checks out.) But...so delicious and still relatively low calorie. I can gulp down the $20 large bag in a few days. The kettle corn place is usually closer to Market with the other hot food/lunch stands on Wednesday. On Friday, they're on the other side, closer to Hyde. I got the ginormous largest size for 10 dollars. The next size down is 8, but pretty much half the size. The choice was easy for me. I paid with credit card. I got a newly popped batch. The guy there filled the bag to the brim, and twisty-tied the end- you can hold it by that end (it does hold up well) and close the bag with twisty tie later. Honestly it did take a lot of popcorn eating to get it down to a point where I could close the bag, which is great. They also have caramel corn and some other selection popped within the last day, but I've only seen the kettle corn fresh. This kettle corn is super tasty and so fresh, and definitely great to share and snack on.

I like to call their platters "homemade meals prepared by a loving grandmother." Trust me, I spent a summer in New Delhi and ate a lot of home cooked meals by my host, and Munch manages to exceed those standards. Every time I come here, I get the Vegetarian Combo for $14. It comes with three different veggie sides - today, there was potato, okra, and chickpeas. (The sides rotate. I've also had eggplant, tomatoes, and zucchini here, though chickpeas seem to be a staple.) I'm not a vegetarian, but if I could eat this every day, I gladly would become one. Tips: - COME HERE FOR LUNCH. It's a bit of a walk from my office, but the radiating heat from the cart and aroma of sweet chicken juice makes the trip all the more worth it. I usually get the half chicken with 1/2 brussel sprouts and 1/2 potatoes, because how can you turn down potatoes roasted in chicken fat?
