He didn't show up for scheduled follow-up appts, never saw or called me in the hospital. Nor did he send a replacement. Weeks later, I underwent a second, emergency replacement of Schultz's replacement. Five weeks after the surgery, I suffered two separate dislocations and screaming ambulance trips because he left me so damaged. I even required ADDITIONAL surgery and extremely difficult repairs a few years after the second replacement. I'm now seriously and permanently disabled. And his online photo is at least 25 years old. Just one more lie. James Moravek didn't listen to me for a YEAR while I told him I was in pain after a shoulder replacement. When he finally took images, there were fractures in my scapula from the screws. He told me he would repair and replace it again. Instead I woke up with half of the original replacement. I now have NO shoulder. JAMES TELFER called me a "problem child" when the shoulder surgery he performed didn't work. A surgeon in another practice fixed it. MASINI massively underestimated the care I'd need after my fourth hip surgery. The last time I saw him, he told me to call him in a few weeks to get more information about a question I had. My messages to him went ignored for months. When I repeatedly inquired, I finally got a message to call for an appointment with him. I immediately did, but was told he had retired. I had no notice of that, and telling me to call for an appointment with HIM was obviously a lie. He was gone. They just wanted me to stay with the practice. They offered me SCHULTZ. (see above.) Then they suggested I see Masini's PA, MATT. I'd already told the practice I never wanted to see Matt again. I've never met a more dismissive pat-her-on-the-shoulder-and-get-rid-of-her man in my life. And I've met plenty. This place is a nightmare.

I was seen in Hillsdale Hospital ER for a fall and knee injury. I was told by Hillsdale Hospital…read moreER there was no fracture and that I had a sprain. After 10 days I still had pain and couldn't walk or put any weight on my leg. I called the office for an emergency appointment and was told I couldn't get an appointment for 18 days. THANKFULLY I called UofM and they saw me in 2 days. I have a tibial plateau fracture. They saw the fracture on Hillsdale ER's X-ray and did repeat X-rays on my knee and lower leg and a CT scan. They put my leg in a brace, no weightbearing and I see a trauma orthopedic physician next week and may need surgery. What do people do when they have a severe emergent injury and a doctors office won't see them on an emergent basis? Disturbing.

I went here for a pretty minor injury sustained during an athletic event. First visit went fine…read more After a while I went back for a follow up, and the doctor I had seen (Dr. Rubin) either completely forgot every detail of my case or failed to review the very few details in my file. He started by checking the mobility around my knee and proceeded to talk about arthritis in my knee and the complications from my surgery. Problem is, I never had surgery, never complained about arthritis in my knee, and, as he should've known from checking me during my first appointment, I never had restricted mobility. So, the doc either didn't take the time to review my file or he was very careless. Sure, mistakes happen, but after I told him he had the details wrong, he didn't apologize or check for other errors. Seemed mostly worried about getting me out the door. I do not recommend.
