There were four different backgrounds set up for the event. Thankfully, two of the backdrops were located inside. Jamie's communication with us during the shoot was amazing. She was clear with her directions and got our small family of three into over a dozen different positions in the short fifteen minutes. Our son was nervous before meeting Jamie but quickly warmed to her. It wasn't long before she had him smiling, giggling and playfully posing for her. Correspondence from the very beginning was top notch. We received an email confirming the appointment, a reminder email and shortly after the shoot another email with information on how to access our pictures. Questions that I emailed were addressed quickly both by the staff and Jamie. I truly feel blessed for having met Jamie. She is a beautiful, talented photographer that I would highly recommend to anyone.

After interviewing tons in the area, I am SO glad I hired Jamie- not only was she talented, a breeze to work with (came to our house with all necessary supplies for a private shoot!), but she was so thoughtful, kind and made the process light and fun! Jamie also had incredible experience with newborns (and new parents :)), so it was easy to capture beautiful pictures. We did a few "outfit changes" and Jamie encouraged us to hop in a few pictures too, she went above & beyond. For the quality of service and quantity of pictures, Jamie had the best prices in the area too. Will be hiring for all future family pictures!

This is my second review on…read moreYelp that I am willing to invest the time to write because Chavi Malka deserves the praise! My husband and I knew that we wanted beautiful and artistic photos to capture those precious newborn moments for our baby boy. I had done extensive research on newborn photographers in the NYC area, and Chavi's style of photography was exactly what we were looking for. Her website was very easy to navigate, she is very transparent with her pricing, and the photos in her gallery accurately reflects her artistic talent and what to expect as your end product. From the moment we contacted her, Chavi was extremely professional, always quick to respond, and she definitely gave us a strong sense of security with her accessibility and ability to be accommodating for you, especially since you can't predict exactly when your baby will arrive (if attempting a natural delivery). Prior to securing our booking with Chavi, we had reached out to a different photographer with whom we had a vastly opposite and negative experience, so Chavi was truly a gem! As exhausted new parents, to our surprise, the day of our photo shoot was one of the most relaxing and blissful hours we have had since the arrival of our baby! Chavi had such a magic touch and kept our baby calm almost the whole time. She has a very soothing and relaxing vibe in general, and instructed us to spend the next few hours however we wanted while she focused on the baby, which was truly a treat! During our family photos, she posed us so naturally and perfectly. The whole experience was just so pleasurable we almost didn't want to leave! We received a link to see the raw photos a few hrs after our session was done, and then got our fully edited photos several days later. We loved ALL the photos so much that we would have regretted it if we didn't purchase all of them. She offered us a package where we could do so minus the photo album (this package is not listed on her website yet). We are so incredibly happy to have found Chavi and to have our beautiful photos to cherish forever! You will have no regrets if you choose Chavi as your photographer, the photos you get and the overall experience is well worth every penny! Thank you so much Chavi

I write this review for anyone who needs some inspiration and that final push to fully explore…read morethemselves. I have NEVER done anything like this but it's something I suggest all women must experience at least once in their lifetime because it was simply amazing! I had no experience whatsoever but Avital posed me from my eyelashes down to my toes with such positive encouragement & energy! I had started my search with my upcoming birthday approaching & due to the world crisis / pandemic lockdown this year I knew I wouldn't be traveling or celebrating at gatherings, however I had just undergone a lot of spiritual & physical growth in the last few months because of these changes so I decided a photography shoot "might" be a nice present to myself... as well as to remember my last year in my 30's. Avital was the first of a few of my inquiries to call me back & as soon as we spoke I knew I had to look no further. We discussed all my questions & any concerns I had, & she instantly put all my worries to ease. The next few days I spent exploring what kind of sensual outfits I would like to wear & the kind of looks I would like to achieve for her to capture. We were in constant contact the next few days as she created my idea board & brought it all to life. She had also coordinated her best hair & makeup artist for me to make sure it was extra special. On the day of my shoot I felt so comfortable as I was greeted with thrill & warmth by both of them. As I was getting dolled up, Avital immediately began coordinating the outfits I brought with her own visions as well as incorporating my own thoughts, & I must say it turned out magical! I would have never envisioned half of what was actually produced. Once we started shooting, I felt her high energy come alive on set & it really worked wonders to motivate me & give my all to it. I felt beautiful, sensual, sexy, soft, excited, happy, all at one time! All the things that sometimes we forget are there in our busy lives. Avital had a true passion & eye for detail and beauty that cannot be compared! I left that day feeling so intense that I couldn't even describe it in words & this is why I strongly encourage anyone with any doubts to just do it! On the day of my final photo reveal I think she was just as excited as me, if not even more excited for how fierce the photos came out. The hardest part of the process was actually narrowing down the ones I wanted to keep. A few days later, my order was personally delivered to me & I was blown away by the beautiful packaging & detail of the entire presentation from the gift bag to the wrapping, the gorgeous prints & customized USB drive, the quality of it all was absolutely top notch. It looked so classy & elegant which was basically the theme of the entire experience. To top it off she had even added a bonus gift for me, so I cannot say enough about how from start to finish the experience was just mind blowing. If you have any reservations about your body or body type: On the day of my photo shoot I was 151lbs (which is an all time low for me in the last 20 years) Height 5'3", Bust 38.5", Waist 30", Hips 41" and what it tells me is you don't ever need to be perfect, ladies, you do not need the thinnest waistline or to be light as a feather, but you can feel perfect in your own way. This photo shoot captured a time in my life that I will forever hold very near & dear to my heart because of how much I learned about life & about myself & about what really matters when all is said & done. For me this was not a reinforcement of being sexy, But rather a huge reminder of the strength of a woman. The power of the mind is simply astounding to say the least. Once you master it, let your body follow. I am so glad I crossed paths with Avital & got to do something so empowering for myself. The last thing I need to add is that my photos have everyone SPEECHLESS & completely inspired. I am so glad it did it! You will NOT regret it either! when else will you be as young & beautiful as you are now

My daughter and son-in-law interviewed several other photographers, and quickly realized that Andrew was the one. He is a pleasure to work with and asked all the right questions of the bride and groom to find out what they were hoping for. On the wedding day Andrew had everything under control (even the things we didn't!). The posed pictures were fast and easy, and I noticed Andrew and his terrific assistant (also a great photographer in his own right) exactly once during the ceremony and reception - at the very end; they could have been watching TV in the bride's room and we wouldn't have known, they were that unobtrusive. So we have no idea how they managed to shoot hundreds of beautiful pictures, beyond any hopes or expectations, capturing every important moment and more throughout the day.
