My wife and I have attempted to resolve an ongoing situation with this elementary school…read morephotographer (Photography by Felicia) to no avail. Most recently, Felicia has presented us as liars, for the second time, to the school, only to be disproven (again) and has now gone as far as to make a false claim in an email to the principle that I own a fake Facebook profile used to "disparage" her company. Being a local business owner, this latter point has crossed a line. Felicia is known to complain about everyone under the sun on Facebook and I have no doubt I've been affected. I would hire a lawyer for defamation, but it is unlikely such an offense would warrant enough money for a lawyer to get involved. This ongoing rift stems back to the beginning of the 2017 school year. Our son's 4th grade portrait and class photo prints were the color blue and visibly altered to the point of looking like goo. I have a photography background and understood the problems to be the result of an unchecked automated editing process or lack of quality control. Both are simple problems to correct. I began attempting to contact Felicia in November 2017 via email and phone to address the issues and received no reply. This continued through May 2018 and was accidentally brought to the previous principle's attention when I received an email from the school about an upcoming photo day and mistakenly replied to him rather than the photographer. I let the issue go for the summer. Fast forward to January 2019 and the PCA request for 5th grade yearbook photos. As we had not been shown our son's photo, I was concerned. Apparently you only get to see the photos if you pay in advance (this is an outdated practice). Given the fact that over a year later, the 4th grade picture issue had still not been addressed, we were not about to give any money to this company. In a heated series of emails (PCA members included) we were accused by Felicia of lying about paying for the 4th grade photos. We immediately disproved this by digging up a copy of the cashed check. By March 2019 I had had enough. Up to this point I had refrained from saying anything on social media, but now resorted to the threat of going public with our story on Facebook and other platforms. Felicia's response was to involve the principle and attempt to generate sympathy. My wife spoke briefly to him about this and was told we would finally get our photos. Success. We received the photos in May 2019. 18 months late. We moved on. Our daughter started kindergarten this year and problems have started again. We did not receive our daughter's photo despite leaving a check in the school office as requested. In an email to the new principle, Felicia again called us liars about paying and accused me, in writing, of using a fake Facebook profile to "disparaged" her. This is a baseless, defaming claim that I am very angry about. But given the number of other parents with their own horrible Felicia experiences, I am not surprised to hear it. After more angry emails, we finally received our daughters picture, but no class picture. And despite being told not to contact me twice, Felicia continues to include me in emails sent to my wife and the principle whom she has only shared a skewed version of why I am so "mean" to her. I could go on and on, but there is a problem here that is not being addressed. For 3 grades now we have been unable to share school photos with grandparents at the holidays. Our kids went without school photos on the fridge. No parents should be treated this way. School photos are supposed to bring back good memories. Not this. Why Photography by Felicia continues to be hired at Sea Cliff Elementary I do not understand. Her pattern of lies and incompetence is unacceptable and any other school would have hired a more professional company by now. The thought of having to deal with her for another 5 grades makes me nauseous.

We were also always happy with our school photos (preschool) from her. Felicia's pricing is reasonable and we're never disappointed!

From start to finish, they were everything we could have hoped for--fun, personable, and incredibly professional. One of the things we loved most was how fully they embraced our wish to capture only candid moments while we were getting ready. They were super accommodating and made sure to respect our preferences without skipping a beat. We got married at the Long Island Aquarium in October, and Rob and Amber were genuinely excited about all the unique details of our wedding, especially my non-traditional blue gown with a cape. Their enthusiasm made the experience even more special, and we felt like they truly understood and celebrated our vision for the day. We also had a specific request to avoid poses that involved jumping, kneeling, or anything else that might make us feel uncomfortable--something we were initially worried about bringing up. Rob and Amber not only honored this but did so with such ease and understanding that it put us completely at ease. In the week leading up to the wedding, Rob and Amber both called us to go over our timeline and answer any last-minute questions. That extra step made us feel so confident and reassured that everything would run smoothly--and it absolutely did! Not only were they a fantastic duo who worked seamlessly together, but they were also incredibly efficient during family photos. Our families genuinely appreciated how quickly and smoothly they handled everything while still being warm and approachable. The team behind the scenes is just as great! The office was communicative and accommodating from the very start. They even met with us on a Saturday for our initial consultation since our weekday schedules made it impossible to meet during regular office hours. We're so excited to see the final photos and video and already know they'll be incredible. If you're looking for a team that's talented, organized, and genuinely invested in capturing your special day, look no further than Rob, Amber, and the entire crew!

Marco himself handled our engagement shoot, and he was professional and personable the entire time. He posed my husband and me in many wonderful, romantic shots, making us look and feel very natural and relaxed. He even took a few fun pictures of my mom and her boyfriend who came with us. The photos came out great (we went with an old-fashioned vibe, complete with a classic car), and my husband and I have many hanging in our apartment. One of the studio's other photographers, Rob, as well as the videographer, Tony, handled the photos and video on our wedding day. Both were exceptional. Rob and Tony had contacted me a week before the wedding to go over the timeline, as well as what to expect. On the day of, they were focused -- always knowing exactly what shots they needed next -- as well as fun and personable. Rob and Tony remained with us for over 10 hours (a very long day for anyone), never wavering in their efforts and professionalism. We just received our wedding photos a few days ago, and my husband and I couldn't be happier; Rob captured all the emotions and energy of the day -- the happiness, the joy, and the humor. Everyone we've shown the photos to so far has articulated how "on point" the photography was. Marco Photography has been an absolute joy to work with. Because my husband and I live in New Jersey, Marco even met us at his studio on a Saturday (when they're typically not in) to give us our proofs. I definitely recommend this business to anyone in the Long Island area or to those getting married at Atlantis.
