Someone told me about Aqua Tots so check out the website completed and inquiry. I recieved a call back from the own at the Buffalo location who spoke with me for a while allowing me to ask all sorts of questions then offered me and family to come in for a free trial session. My lil guy loved it and we signed up that day !! So what do we love ? 1) We love that staff are welcoming, positive and patient !! They know my lil guy's name, they make him feel comfortable especially when learning new things. He looks foward to coming every week. 2) I love flexability of the schedule. They are open 6 days a week with various times available. Also, you can easily schedule a make up session. 3) They give feedback with sugguestions to practice at home right after the lesson. And parents of toddler age and up dont get in the pool with kid. There is a huge viewing area where you can watch the entire swim lesson and you child can see you as well. 4) You pay monthly and you can how many days a week you child goes. You even have the ability pause your membership if needed. 5) small classes only 4 kids per class. Overall,I could honestly go on and on about this place. My family loves it, my son is safe and learning a great skill. Check it out !!!

Ever since my toddler jumped in a bathtub full of water when I turned my back, my husband and I…read moreknew we had to get her into swim lessons and ensure she knew water safety. So, we signed our daughter up for a free trial at Goldfish Swim a couple months ago (wish I could remember the young man's name who taught the class!) and were immediately impressed! My daughter has been scared of water ever since my reaction to the bathtub incident, but her teacher Ms. Annabelle has been so incredibly patient, accommodating and consistent during her weekly sessions. Our daughter gains more and more confidence and skills each week and absolutely loves her teacher! Our daughter also has a speech/language delay and can shut down when not understood but Ms. Annabelle has worked through each breakdown to show her support and understanding which we appreciate so so much! Our daughter is really coming out of her shell and gaining so many language and social skills in addition to swim and safety skills- we are so grateful! Weekends at Goldfish are definitely crowded and hectic and I do wish sessions were an hour long rather than half hour but the progress we've seen in such a short amount of time has shown us how truly valuable these lessons are! Other parents have noted that week days are much calmer but it just doesn't fit well into our schedule. We like that Goldfish offers makeup sessions and recently did back to back sessions. The second/ make-up session was with Ms. Eva and she did such a wonderful job making our daughter feel safe and comfortable, it was such a great experience! Every teacher and employee we've interacted with has been wonderful. We drive almost 40 minutes each way for lessons and it has been worth every mile and every penny! Our nephew is in swim classes at a Goldfish school on Long Island and his parents highly recommended the program when they knew we were looking for a place to join. So happy we gave Goldfish a try, we look forward to every session and the growth we see weekly! The skills our daughter is building are so worth it and we can't recommend Goldfish Swim enough!

We had a swim party last September for my daughter (2024). This was the worst party and I would…read morenever recommend spending hundreds of dollars at GoldFish. They did not provide any of the "perks" that were advertised- no lifeguard, no activity staff, no Birthday invitations, no tshirt. The two staff that were present sat at the front desk on their phones. This was at the Williamsville New York location. I called directly following her party and all that could be said was "I'll pass this to my supervisor." As we both of my kids did lessons there for the good part of the school year, I asked that I be removed from the calling list as I was getting repeated calls to sign back up. Even a year later, I'm still getting calls to have another party and sign my kids up for lessons. I just received a phone call for a birthday party and I kindly asked, again, to be removed from their calling list. I was told the system was down and I couldn't be removed at this time but they would note to remove me. So you can look up my daughter to know that her birthday is in Sept and look my phone number up to call, yet you can't remove me from your system?? My husband and I have spend thousands of dollars on swim lessons for the duration of a school year. I would not recommend Foldfish in any capacity.

Overall, my family has been pretty happy with the Y. The workout facilities, locker rooms and…read morebathrooms are much cleaner than what I've experienced at places like LA fitness. I love that they have lockers with locks in the main workout area (you do need to bring your own lock for the locker room), although currently many of the lockers are broken so I hope they repair them soon. I've taken quite a few good classes here although the classes do tend to get crowded so you really have to show up early to make sure you have a spot. We also enjoy swimming both in the lap pool and with our son in the zero depth pool. The one frustration I have had is with the adventure room. This is a great indoor playground which my toddler son loves. However, unlike the rest of the facilities, it is covered in dust. I worry that if they aren't maintaining this area, not only is it covered in germs from the children, but they may not be regularly inspecting the safety of the structure. Overall, it seems like a safe playspace but anytime you have kids climbing at such high heights, a piece of broken equipment could become a serious danger. I always watch my son closely and check out the equipment myself while he's playing. The other problem with this area is that although there is an app with schedules, it is frequently incorrect when it comes to the adventure room. The open hours for children under five are very limited and as you can imagine, it is very difficult to get a toddler out of the house, bring him to his favorite place only to have to tell him that it is unexpectedly closed. I have brought up this issue to the staff multiple times, but it still has not been addressed. In general, I would say the Y is worth it, especially if you were planning on utilizing all of the facilities

I've never seen him so comfortable Around water and all he talks about is what she teaches him every week. He looks forward to her class every sunday. she's friendly with my AJ And treats him so well. She has always responded to text messages and made sure she could do what she could to get my son into class or to even check in and see how he was doing. I highly recommend miss colleen, I really do. She changed my son's fear into a new experience that he enjoys now. Don't listen to the other comment, miss colleen school of fish is absolutely wonderful and she will teach your baby how to swim in the safest way possible. The responses seemed a little rude...but with text it's easy to misread. I never heard back. Today I inquired again and the first response was "didn't you reach out to me in 2021" which was surprising that she remembered that but couldn't remember to text me back before. I responded that yes, I did and I never heard back. The response I got was "lol. You were supposed to contact ME. My phone is blowing up all day. I don't do lists." then she told me to contact her after June 5th to see if there was room. Well that self inflated ego was enough to convince me to go elsewhere, second, not contacting people interested in your service is a pretty piss-poor was to do business, lastly, who makes someone wait three weeks to find out if there is even room in the class. Colleen sounds disorganized, egotistical and rude and to be honest I'm glad I found this out. I would NEVER trust her with my child, especially in a potentially dangerous situation. I will definitely be taking my son to a reputable swim school with instructors that actually seem capable.
