The tech isn't as warm as the woman I've become used to, but they're fast and efficient. And she explained to me that a large weight loss or gain can impact the density of your breasts and therefore make the image much different than a previous image. She also explained to me that tattoos can affect the images!! So I did learn a lot while I was here. The care was excellent. I didn't have the need to interact with the office at all since I checked in online and did all my things lol so 5/5 not excited to go back but I'll be back next year!

My oncologist scheduled me here for my 6 month post chemo CT on a Monday at 7:30. A workday at the crack of dawn. No one checked with me first. So, I started grumpy. My minion picked me up at 6:30 and because of traffic, he was grumpy too. Parking was easy. The place was easy to find on the ground floor to the left of Providence Immediate Care. They had "Finding Dory" playing on a big tv and there was comfy seating. My wait was only long because I had to drink contrast beforehand in two doses over an hour. It was hard to stay cranky for too long. Everyone was really nice, the procedure was smooth. The contrast they made me drink was disgusting as usual ( I don't like the texture, I am a fragile flower) but they have a bowl of peppermints on the counter that really helped. Yay. My results were in My Chart fairly soon after, a clean scan. No sign of cancer. All good. And my minion got me a mocha after. Of course.

I expected to feel like a farm animal, especially when I went through the double doors and saw just how many rooms they had available for individuals coming in for surgery. From the moment I arrived, from the desk staff, to my first nurse, to the anesthesiologist, to all the people in between - *everyone* introduced themselves by name, asked me mine, and CLEARLY explained what was going on in every step as I prepared for my surgery. Yes, it was as efficient as an assembly line, and no, I didn't feel like a farm animal/ Once my surgery was complete, a staff member stayed with me the whole time, making sure I was OK, giving me ice chips, and talking with my husband about when to pick me up. For day surgery, this was about as good of an experience as one could have.

I then had to wait to schedule this until the injection was approved by Moda. Moda approved Efflexa, a certain brand, but this place doesn't have it. So I had to do the work to call Moda, and even the pharmacy where the injection comes from called me, before I got an approval letter for it. ROC said that they don't carry what was approved. What??????!!! Even Moda was confused. I'm just going to go to another orthopedic. I can't even call to talk to someone. Whoever replies to the texts lacks customer service. It has been about two weeks since I was there!! So Moda said to try someone else. Funny, they mentioned to me that ROC advertised Euflexxa. Tell your employees then. I was so incredibly disappointed.

Oh we never discussed anything about my kidney function and the labs dealing with my kidney function, because he could not find anything. But he sure typed a lot.
