Which brings me to my second reason.. 2. Terrific customer service! Doesn't matter if I handle things in the office or by phone and email, I'm treated as a valued customer by friendly & helpful people. I don't recall being left on hold for long periods of time, and when I'm promised a return call, it's come in a timely fashion. No aggregation at all!

Absolute worst experience I've ever had with an insurance company. Left Progressive for State Farm…read morebecause Rick Perryman himself gave me a quote much less to what I was paying. Takes all my information (license number, social security number and so on) tell me he runs my driving record. Sets up my policy and takes my down payment. 4 days later I get cancellation notices for all 3 of my vehicles due to my driving record not being up to snuff for State Farm. This is after I asked Rick if my MVR was ran and he confirmed it was. I try and go back to Progressive after being left out to dry by Rick and now they want to charge me a higher premium due to me not having a longer history with an insurance company. Gave calls to 3 local agents in Torrington and all prices are astronomical since the switch. State Farms says that can't insure me period. So I decide to go online myself and do some research. First quote I get blows everyones quotes away and they even run your MVR online(who would have thought). Steer FAR away from Agents and buy your policies online ESPECIALLY this agency.
