I think reviewing an insurance company--or rather the office of one location of an insurance…read morecompany--is a little unorthodox for Yelp reviews. But I've had such convenient interactions with this office, that I couldn't pass up the opportunity to review it and the awesome employees. The thought of obtaining new rental and auto insurance or even transferring a policy is exhausting to me. I had made a few calls when I was considering a move, and this office was easy to communicate with and helpful with every question I had. They even pointed out a few places in the area (gyms, restaurants, etc.) that might be of interest to me. They were very quick in answering questions they didn't know and equally quick in completing paperwork for me. Of course, shortly after contacting them and getting a policy through them, I got into a car accident! Again, they surprised me in helping to coordinate a rental car, offering a list of auto shops where I could take the car for repairs, and helping me through the entire process. And the insurance company paid the auto shop directly, which meant that I didn't need to wait to get reimbursed for the damages. Overall, I've been more than happy with my experience at this State Farm location, and I'd definitely recommend it to someone needing insurance in the area.

She provided invaluable information on a compliance issue that was impacting us from getting several vehicles registered. The issue has not been resolved but this is not due to the services Enid provided but to an issue in how DMV is viewing coverage for certain policies. We have garnered substantial information from Enid that we hope we lead to an immediate resolution. These kinds of issues can lead many to chastise the messenger when the root cause of the problem lies beyond the agents. Thanks Enid for going beyond the call of duty when you had other items on your plate. Keep up the good work!

Tomorrow I will be calling our independent insurance agent to get them shopping for an alternative…read moreto the AARP-Hartford insurance. We have been with this program for a number of years, bundling home and auto. Yes, the rates keep going up each year, which is to be expected. Last year seemed on the excessive side, but I let it roll. Today I realized that they are proposing a 71% increase in our premium for 2026 to 2027. What?! We are mature adult drivers with less than 10,000 annual miles of driving. My husband had a recent minor accident, but I don't believe that has even entered into the calculation for the new premium. There was no damage to the other car, very minimal damage to ours, and no injuries. No tickets or other accidents on record. 71%? What I see online is other consumers reporting that their rates were going up 45 to 50% in a number of cases. Once they shopped other providers, they were able to get much better deals. I sure hope that will be the case when our agent shops options for us. Just on general principal, I want to get away from Hartford as soon as possible! It's a good thing our renewal time is almost here, and we will be moving on away from them. Their partnering with AARP to save older drivers money seems to have turned into a bad joke, bordering on a scam.
