THIS DR DOES NOT ACCEPT HMO! We got a referral to this Dr, got an appointment and sent in all of the pertinent information including insurance. We waited two months for the appointment, arrived on time and checked in with the receptionist, 45 minutes later we were informed that they don't take HMO's and our visit would cost us $386. It just seems like we should have been informed prior to 45 minutes after the scheduled appointment of the Dr's policy. Effective and efficient. As a clinician, I enjoy the high quality care and problem solving oriented approach rather than mediocre care but with a lot of hand holding approach. I very much appreciate Dr. Mayron's accomplishments as a physician and teacher. His practice operates with the most current and modern approach to medicine, whereas most offices in this area do not. I was further pleased with the design and style of the waiting room and exam rooms. The unique design is very upscale and can make anyone feel comfortable. The office staff is quick and reliable, everyone was incredibly friendly. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone with neurological problems. read more

Dr Mayron is a very professional Doctor. He takes the time to listen to you and performs every test needed to find out what is going on with you. He found that I had piriformis syndrome and Rheumatoid Arthritis when no other Dr could figure out what was wrong with me. I highly recommend him! read more

I am rarely one to write reviews, and even more rarely will I write one to point out one's downfalls, but the thought of saving someone else the trouble and heartache of visiting this office was motivation enough to bring me to do so. That being said, I only give one star because zero was not an option. To spare everyone the tedious details of my family and I's full, egregious experience at this office I will simply state that this office presents no obvious positives that I am able to observe. Dr. Mayron was impossible to get in touch with. After getting in touch, it was even more difficult to get anything out of him. After finally getting him to run the tests we needed it took us MONTHS to receive the results, and it took countless phone calls to get them even then. Come to find out after waiting all that time..he had run the wrong blood tests, then assured us with great confidence that the tests were very positive when they were in fact inaccurate, irrelevant, and a waste of time. Moving forward, we have thankfully found more competant medical staff, and have learned more in one visit than any amount of time spent with Dr. Matron (or more accurately on hold with his receptionist). The doctors and other medical personnel we have described our experiences to have been noticeably appalled, as are we. If you are considering this office and are having second thoughts after such a scathing review, please feel free to send me a personal message. My bottom line, though, is that you should select another office. This one will likely do more harm than good, unfortunately. read more
