And I went back thinking, maybe I'd get the same experience after Lisa left, but now my nurse practitioner Is it Denise Kidder?\n And in the 1st day, she has lied to me.\n Which makes me very suspect of the whole place. The morale is horrible, everybody's miserable and mean and they do not care about their patients. I had to chase him to get an answer about referrals or pain medicine for the severe kidney stones I have and still have got nothing. I'm gonna find me another doctor this place scares me to think someone's lives in the hands of Li.\nArs and hateful people.I can't trust my life to that

I would rather not divulge into too much detail, but I've never been to an appointment where the receptionist told I had to reschedule. Did she not expect me to be disappointed after I went through all the trouble of waiting two weeks for an appointment and having to find coverage for work? I was also very confused about what she was telling me. I was supposed to be seen for a disorder that effects my cognitive ability.. She became very rude when I was trying to ask her how to fix the problem with my medical record. After all the other unmentioned hoops she had made me jump through, I told her to just forget about it and began to walk out. "Have a nice day!" She called out in an extremely condescending voice. The whole conversation was in earshot of the waiting room too. I've never felt so ashamed and embarrassed. Especially at a doctor's office!

Dr. Turner remembers absolutely everything about his patients and the people around his patients. He remembered my uncle and remembered me even though he hadn't seen me in years. I feel like he really cares about my dad as a person not just his medical status. I do not feel like he thinks of my dad as a number and I don't think he ever tries to rush my dad out during appointments. He takes the time to talk to my dad and see how he's doing medically and emotionally and that's just the extra step that most doctors that I have been to do not take. Dr. Turner is fabulous. He is friendly. He is professional. He saved my dad's life and continues to care 6 years later. He understands how scary this whole thing can be -- and I feel he really takes the time to explain what's going on and what can be done. With Dr. Turner at The Heart Group, I feel like my dad is getting absolutely the best care possible.

I set up an appointment with one of the physicians and had my primary care doctor send a referral. When I called to confirm that the Heart Group had received a referral, I asked about getting records from another hospital group in town. I was told that this was no problem and that they would handle this. A few days before my appointment, I called to confirm that they had received my records and was transferred to the nurse of the physician I had an appointment with. I got the voice mail of that person so I left a detailed message and a request that they call me back to confirm. I never received a call back and finally went to the office in person to confirm that they got the records. Spoke with the receptionist who seemed quite disinterested and said she would call back to the nurse to see if the records were received. Waited about 20 minutes and finally after some insistence on my part was told that the records had not been received. I said that I would probably have to cancel the appointment, since the appointment was only about a day away and without records there would be nothing to talk to the physician about. Then the receptionist suggested that I go to the referring physicians office and get the records. This only gave me a day to get this information to the Heart Group--a day in which I already had two appointments. I finally just cancelled the appointment. I decided that if this is the way they run the office, I really have no desire to become one of their patients.
