My whole extended family is going to benefit from Dr. Martucci's excellence. If you're a zebra, like me, you know a doctor like this is about as rare as you are! The staff on the other hand.... Lord have mercy! Pray to your god or even someone else's for help, you're gonna need it. He's worth it though.

I get allergy shots once a month and the Allergy Partners staff was very helpful in coordinating my arrival as a new patient coming from California, including getting my records and allergy serum sent over to them before I arrived in Colorado. I've unfortunately had several flare ups of my asthma in the past year, but the doctors have been very helpful in developing a plan to manage flare-ups and they are willing to try out multiple treatments of what they originally tried does not work. I really appreciate also that they provide samples of medications and other allergen-friendly products to help with costs. Most of the nurses who give allergy shots are great and despite my difficult insurance company, I've never had any issues with billing. I love that when I arrive for a shot I never have to wait more than 5 minutes - in my previous experience with Kaiser in California it could take a half hour before you were even called in!

After attempting many times via email and over the phone to resolve safety issues related to my…read moremedical information, I've filed official complaints against this clinic (sometimes branded as Advanced Dermatology or Cara Mia Dermatology) for HIPAA violations. In July, nurse emailed me asking me to sensitive medical information, including photos of my body, from my personal Gmail account to one of the clinic's email accounts, which did not use encryption meeting HIPAA codes. I followed up several times via email, as well as by speaking to two different employees over the phone, asking for a HIPAA-compliant, secure platform to share my medical information. I was told by everyone I communicated with that I should send information via email, and they all gave me misleading assurances that my data would be secure (i.e., I was told that sending by email with their low level of encryption was safe and that they would delete the emails after reviewing, with the implication that this met HIPAA codes). I work in advocacy, am a caregiver with many years of personal experience advocating for medical rights, and my partner is a tech security officer, so I felt compelled to advocate against this harmful policy because I know many patients don't have the background knowledge I've learned about HIPAA codes and wouldn't know that the clinic's instructions were not compliant or secure. Additionally, after asking at least 3 employees for this information, I was not provided with contact information for a compliance officer or with excerpts from their privacy policy that address digital safety in accordance with HIPAA -- both of which are legally required to be provided upon request to anyone who asks. Because I couldn't get this info, I asked to be contacted by a compliance officer to attempt to resolve the situation before filing official complaints, and never received a response.
