The person scheduling appointments was really nice and gave me instructions to do prior to arriving. About 3-4 days before my appointment a tech called me and said they needed some bloodwork. I called my doctor and the tests were faxed over. I was pleasantly surprised he called me back to tell me, that they received the necessary information. On the day of my appointment, I went in and had to drink this liquid, that helps with the CT Scan. I did that and 45 minutes later I was taken back for the scan. My radiologist was the nicest. She talked me through the whole process. She explained everything and was so kind. They had the results to my doctor, the same day. She even gave me instructions for after the test. From the person scheduling my appointment, to the tech, to the awesome radiologist, I would give them A+! I wouldn't hesitate to go back to this facility. They were excellent!

Rescheduled me for 3pm. Caused me to miss my doctor appointment for same day. Then once MRI is complete I was told they would bring me the disk to wait in the office. After 20 minutes, I asked where the disc was since the specialist who did my MRI left and was told they miscommunicated and please wait. They would bring me one in a few minutes.

There were two front desk attendants on 12/31 when I went in to get an MRI done. I arrived early and checked in and completed some short standard paperwork. The flamboyant guy Chris at the front desk kept talking nonstop about dating, his wife, his friends, something about American University, and everything under the sun to the poor coworker who just had to listen endlessly. Bring headphones to drown out the front desk staff's personal chatter. I had to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time, which was annoying because there were no other patients while I was there so I wasn't sure what the holdup was all about. The woman who assisted me with the MRI was super friendly, welcoming, informative, and had a good sense of humor. She gave clear instructions on prepping for the MRI, informed me on the length and what I needed to do and be aware of, and checked in on me during the process. It was not a fun experience and I felt incredibly claustrophobic but it lasted only 45 minutes and was invasive only in the sense that they had to inject a vein with contrast but it wasn't too bad. I received a CD of the results and was informed that the results would be electronically submitted to the requester, my ENT doctor's office. The experience with the staff and facility was very good. I would definitely return to this location but hope I don't need to for a long while.

Being just around a few minutes after 4 o'clock, which had been the time for my X-ray appointment, I had gone in and signed myself in at the front desk, with the lady telling me that I should have been here 50 minutes earlier. I was confused because nowhere had it been mentioned that I needed to be here. Confused, I explained this back to members of staff at the front desk, begging to walk away as the arguing had been going on. It was unprofessional and didn't make me feel welcome with the attitude that I received. After filling up the paperwork given to me, when I gave her the papers back at the front desk, she snatched the papers from me, acting immaturely. I know people get tired from work, but she needs to understand she is here for her pay and isn't on her own time to give people her attitude. The manager, however, after the incident took place, was very comforting and respectful with me, explaining that the issue was unprofessional and I should be writing a report as I am currently doing now.

I originally called this practice because I had heard they offered a more comfortable open bore MRI experience, but when I asked the scheduler about it she told me that only closed was offered. I told her that the website mentioned it, she then responded that told me she wasn't aware of that. Hmm. Odd. Maybe I need to speak with someone else then? But for now let me just get on the books, I thought. Well, that's when the frustration continued because I found myself repeating basic information over and over and over again. I got to the point where I would intentionally add more pauses when repeating the information, the scheduler would repeat back the information to me...but then moments later would ask me to repeat the same information again. Is this how everyone at the clinic will be? Not listening the first or second time, therefore requiring me, the patient, to constantly repeat myself when it comes to an already uncomfortable experience? It didn't inspire confidence in me, that's for sure. They also talked very low, like they were shy -- I had to ask them to speak louder several times, then they would barely increase the volume. Think just a hair above whisper-soft instead of average tone. The low end of the volume dial on an old radio instead of right in the middle. Now that I'm reading the other reviews here about how their appointments went...I feel like I might have been better off just sticking with the Radiology clinic I normally go to instead of trying a different one. I'd recommend that the clinic train its support staff and coach them on professionalism, as they are often the first-line impression and can sometimes make or break an experience for the patient. Have them speak confidently and in a steady tone (not above a whisper). Teach them active listening skills, ensure that they have decent reasoning skills (the scheduler got my address confused for the doctor's address -- although the MRI order clearly noted which was which). Furthermore, have them versed on what is offered and what isn't. I had to explain to the scheduler what I meant with "wide-open bore MRI" although that's exactly how it was described on the website. Shouldn't they be familiar with that and able to talk to it when a patient asks about it? I'll more than likely go back to my old clinic, at least I know what to expect with them and they've been pretty consistent with their service over the years.

It was packed in the waiting area. They have a nice large waiting area that can accommodate a large number of patients. Checking in was smooth and quick. They are very efficient at this location. A few minutes later my name was called. There were two people assigned to my X-ray. One person was training the new person. I was given shorts to put on for the X-ray. Unfortunately, there was a long pause, and I was left waiting for someone to return to get me. I started looking around and found my radiology assistants. Things went pretty smoothly from there. But, I noticed the one experienced staffer really had to do most of the work. He was really good ! Thank you for taking over. I was done in a few minutes and out the door. Results were sent quickly to my doctor. I am very pleased with Adventist Healthcare Imaging. They are really nice, efficient, and pleasant to work with.

I don't want anyone having to go through the frustration that I went through. Washington Radiology has been my trusted healthcare facility for the past 13 years. They do my yearly mammograms. The front desk has always been organized and helpful. The employees at the front desk have been kind, professional, and supportive. The technicians are top tear. They are very supportive, professional, and respectful. I have given this office 5 stars for the past 3 years. This year, is the first time I have had an issue with the results from my mammogram. I had called 4 times and waited for over ten days, over a 2 week period to speak with the facility about my mammogram results. After, 4 calls and ten days, I was able to speak to the office manager, Kimberly Scott! She said she hadn't received my prior messages. She assured me that there was nothing wrong with my mammogram. She is a very nice person, but when you want to speak with a medical professional, the doctor who read your mammogram, you should be able to do so. I was told that the doctor was very busy, she would email the doctor, but there was no guarantee that the doctor would get back to me. So, let's go over this once more, I have gone to this office for over ten years. I have never asked for any help. But, this time after spending over 4 hours trying to reach anyone, but a switchboard, which is unable or unsuccessful in trying to reach the location...I am told by the business manager, that the doctor is too busy to call me? So, after undue frustration, I finally received a call from the doctor, which was 3 weeks after I had begun trying to reach her. I should have had a return call from the doctor with in 24-48 hours from my first call. The businesses reluctance to place calls directly to the location, they are handled by an answering service. That kind of service is not acceptable. So, in summary, if nothing is wrong with you, then by all means go to this location. But, please note, that if you ever have a question or an issue, getting through to a doctor is almost impossible. And, you might not want the stress and anguish involved.
