I've had the pleasure of knowing Michael Levison for nearly four years now. Throughout this time, he's been a thoroughly knowledgeable real estate professional, as well as a friend. You can trust him to provide you with candid advice about the market and guide you through the home buying process. His communication style is welcoming, clear, and timely. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend reaching out to him regarding any real estate needs - you'll no doubt experience what I describe above within one conversation with Michael. Thank you! read more

Michael was an absolute wonder to work with when my wife and I were looking to purchase our first home. We had no idea what to expect aside from what parents/friends had told us, and Michael was ready to answer every. single. question. we had day or night. He got us viewings within hours of requesting them, and he was always willing to go the extra mile. In fact, we had an untraditional financial situation, and rather than letting it be a hinderance to our search, Michael turned it into our greatest strength when it came to putting in offers. Thanks to his polite and persistent communication skills, Michael successfully guided the seller of our new home to accept our offer within 24 hours before any competing offers were on the table! Overall, we would recommend Michael to anyone searching for their next property. Thanks Michael! read more

Our experience selling our house with Michael's representation and guidance was outstanding. From the minute we first met with him, we felt we were in good hands. His knowledge of the market, marketing plans, recommendations for preparing our home for showings, connection with other agents from his over two decades of experience in this market were all key in our decision to hire Michael to sell our home. I appreciated his approach and understanding of our family situation so as not to create more stress as we went through this process while still living in our home - other agents I interviewed stressed me out just during the interview process! Michael's communication with us throughout the process was very much appreciated. The concierge services he provided for us were unparalleled. Even with the market flattening out this summer and our house on the market longer than we expected, he never lost his optimism and continued to aggressively market our home and then provided great advise through the negotiation, escrow and closure process. We highly recommend Michael for all your real estate needs for his knowledge, professionalism, communication, and tenacity in meeting your goals whether you are selling or buying. This was the fourth home we have sold in SoCal area and our experience with Michael was simply the best read more

I'm so thankful for his guidance and patience throughout the process. Michael gets my highest praise and recommendation! 10 Stars! Thank you Michael! read more

It is my pleasure to write this review on Michael Levison. Michael represented me, the seller, in a recent transaction. I hadn't moved for 22 years, so you can imagine it was an emotional experience. One of the things I appreciated was Michael's candor and transparency. He was always above-board and laid out different scenarios for me, even not selling at this time. Michael was very familiar with the area and kept on top of other sales in the neighborhood, He vetted all potential buyers thoroughly. No lookie-loos. Michael got me a price I didn't think possible!! He also talked me down when I got anxious or had to deal with the buyer's agent, who I found challenging at times. I wholeheartedly recommend Michael as one of the very best (perhaps the best!) realtor I have ever contracted with. Can't say enough good about him! read more

We were new to the area and needed a realtor who could keep us updated on what was happening with the changing market here. We also wanted someone to help us find which part of Carlsbad met our needs. Michael was that realtor! He spent a great deal of time with us taking us to all of the different neighborhoods in Carlsbad, and he made sure that we knew what each area had to offer. Michael is patient, kind, and is a wealth of information. He was wonderful about answering our questions and listening to what we liked and didn't like about each home we looked at. He even talked to neighbors who were outside, so we could become more familiar with the neighborhood. We had lots of questions, and Michael made sure that he answered them. Every step of the way he was available to help us navigate through this entire process. He helped us find a home that met all of our wants and needs. We love our new home! We would highly recommend Michael because he made what was an emotional process for us, so much easier. Bob & Cathy read more

36 hours after listing we were in escrow. We were living on the East Coast when I let Mike, my realtor of 7 years, know we wanted to sell our Carlsbad home that he helped us buy in 2012. I trust Mike far more than just in a real estate capacity. For an industry saturated with posturing, disingenuous, and agents who use real estate as a last resort or as a potential extra revenue stream- Mike is the shining light. He operates at an incredibly rapid pace, is authentic but tactical and strategic, and has a virtual rolodex of all the people you may need to solve your home's largest or smallest issues. Mike made me want to join him in the fun after he posted our upcoming listing on social media well before it was listed. He drew tons of attention. He had always had our best interest in mind and would stop at nothing to maximize our equity and reduce our costs. Mike also has no aversion to risk and it paid off well. Extremely well. Exact match homes in our development listed before ours are still struggling to sell a price comparable to ours. Mike is a friend who knows the real estate business in and out. Mike will never lose business because of his prioritization of the client, his integrity, and his technical prowess. We give Mike our highest possible recommendation as your SoCal real estate agent. read more

My husband and I have had to relocate a few times due to work, and the process of buying a home in a new location is always very stressful. Michael was great, at helping us understand the area we were moving to, he gave us all the information we needed to make a good decision. He is extremely knowledgeable of the area, market, and trends. He is very honest, realistic, and a true partner. We purchased a house during a very difficult time for buyers, since there was low inventory, and high demand. He negotiated on our behalf, and positioned our offer in a way that our seller could not refuse. He truly has the secret sauce. read more

EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE Michael Levison is a skilled experienced realtor who provided a comprehensive set of services that made buying our Carlsbad home pleasant and easy. At our first meeting, he listened, asked relevant questions, and guided us through many decisions to narrow our search to ensure efficient use of our time. Michael was prompt in answering our questions and text messages/emails, regardless of weekdays or weekends. He connected us with an excellent mortgage broker who found us an unbeatable loan package. Michael is a fantastic communicator, has extensive knowledge about the home buying experience and helped us purchase a home in a very fast moving and competitive market. Michael's negotiation skills are what secured our successful offer. He was very responsive to our many questions about various areas, homes we were looking in to and sent videos to assist with process explanations and showing property details. When we had questions regarding an easement, Michael sought the professional who could research the specifics for us. He kept in touch with the seller's agent and title co. through the entire process so we would know the exact timeline and what was next. He also provided us with referrals for all of the inspections and arranged for a handyman to meet us at the home to discuss potential upgrades and repairs. Excellent realtor! We are excited to begin a new adventure in our new home. Thanks Michael, Terri & Marty Pinkney read more

Michael helped us with both the sale of our old home, which he'd helped us buy 6 years earlier, and the purchase of our new home in November. For the sale of our old home he was the constant source of calm in an otherwise difficult procedure. The buyer's agent was not the best and made things very difficult after we accepted their offer. Michael's determination, communication, organization, and outreach are the only reasons the sale happened. I will always recommend Michael to anyone I hear is looking to sell or purchase a new home! read more

Michael was fabulous! He helped beyond our expectations. He was always very fair and balanced with his recommendations and always responded immediately to our questions and concerns. He was very knowledgable about the area. And is a cool guy!!! read more

Searching for our home in San Diego has been a full time job. Michael Levison is the consummate real estate professional who gave us the local knowledge which saved us time and energy by keeping us from driving to homes of those beautiful photos on the MLS which of course doesn't mention proximity to power lines, busy traffic areas, homes backing up to streets etc.etc. Michael's perspective combined with his integrity prevented us from making a costly mistake when we were getting impatient, even though he would have benefited financially. Throughout this ordeal he never let the "micro view" take our eyes off the "macro view"! Michael's experience helped us accomplish our goal of relocation to finally be only a short drive from our family. The ultimate will be this Sunday when all our kids and grandkids will be with us making it a very special Father's Day at our "home sweet home" in Carlsbad! MICHAEL IS THE BEST!!! My husband and I are first time home buyers. We have to commute to different areas of San Diego and needed a place that would accommodate our job locations but also allow us to grow into. We honestly could have not been successful through this difficult real estate climate without the expert knowledge and advise from Michael. Not only is he aware of the changing market, intelligently adaptable, sharp, but is also humble, patient and personable! He is always responsive and will follow-through on any task and questions we have whether its through email, text, or phone call he is very detail oriented. I had a billion questions and Michael was always there without any hesitation to help us through each step and even educated us along the way. He made the experience extremely smooth, with a surprisingly quick/easy close. We have heard the horror stories of last minute details that can slow the closing process but we did not experience any of it thanks to Michael. There were multiple offers on our place but he had the "secret sauce" to make us stand out on top! We are truly grateful for all that Michael has done for us! We would strongly recommend him and hope to work with him again in the future! You honestly will be in amazing hands with Michael! read more

Mike was always right there to help me through every step, always educated me and informed me, and made the experience extremely smooth, even with a quick close. He sold my family their home 10 years ago and they were adamant that I shouldnt go with anyone but Michael, and now I feel the exact same way! Michael went above and beyond to help us find the perfect home for our family. We were moving from out of state and had a very short window of time to close on a new house. To add more complexity there was very little inventory to choose from and when we finally found the house we loved we were up against seven other offers. Michael did a tremendous job providing us guidance on positioning the right offer to keep us competitive but also making sure we didn't overpay. Michael brings a higher level of professionalism and work ethic than what I've found with other agents I've worked with in the past. I would highly recommend him for your real estate needs. read more

We are so happy to have used Michael to help purchase our first home. We moved to Carlsbad from LA and therefore weren't very knowledgeable about the different neighborhoods. He not only gave us great advice as young parents regarding different areas but also helped in putting together the best offer - in fact we were accepted on both offers we submitted! Michael was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process and helpful since we didn't live in the area. We highly recommend Michael and plan to use him in the future for our next purchase or sale. We were referred to him by friends of friends and are so happy he was our realtor. read more

North County real estate agent Michael Levison is AWESOME,,,,,, need we say more????? YES!!!!! We left San Diego county 25 years ago. We always dreamed of returning and the time had finally come. Not surprisingly, much has changed. We found ourselves relying heavily on the expertise of real estate agent Michael Levison. We knew from the very first encounter with Michael that his sole interest was to help us find the home of our dreams. He listened intently to what we thought we were looking for and he led us on an amazing journey that culminated in a great purchase. Micheal is not only professional, he is caring, unassuming, intuitive, genuine, flexible, sincere, and tops it all off with a great sense of humor!!!! He never tried to push us in a direction we weren't comfortable with. He let us lead the search but gently directed us to areas he thought were well suited for us. Michael Levison is the ideal realtor! His many wonderful qualities include consistent professionalism, perseverance, reliability, availability, loyalty, knowledge, expertise, calm, quiet strength, superb negotiation skills, honesty, and the patience of Job. Never did I feel pressured to hurry and find a home, or to look outside of my price range, and he was (is) always upbeat...reassuring me that I would, indeed, eventually find "my" home. I was living in the San Francisco Bay Area in early 2018 and wanted to move to San Diego after retiring in 2019. I started looking for a home in early 2018. I looked online and contacted Michael who hung in there with me for a year and a half while I searched for a home to buy. Every couple of months I would come to San Diego with a list of homes to see that I had seen online and Michael would arrange the itinerary to make the most of my time. Time after time, the homes were not appropriate for one reason or another. Still, he helped me narrow in on the critical parameters I was looking for, set me up with a customized search online, and patiently showed me more homes each time I came to San Diego. When I finally found the home I wanted, he was a strong negotiator behind the scenes, always the gentleman, and I got the price I wanted with a 7 day close. He was amazing. I told him sincerely that I was in such awe of his talents and completely respectful of what a terrific job he does and the person he is. Everyone should wish for Michael as their realtor. I feel blessed that he was mine! There's only one comprehensive word I can think of for Michael - the realtor and the person - Outstanding! read more

Michael has helped us sell (2015), buy (2015), buy (2021) and sell (2021) again. We immediately went to Michael for our real estate needs in 2021 since we had such responsive service from him in 2015. We knew that we had to work with Michael again. Michael walked us through the process and told us what to expect and always had our best interest in mind especially when negotiating and pricing. He also followed up on our behalf with ALL of the other moving parts (escrow, loan, inspectors, agents, etc.). This part was invaluable to us. Our experience was truly worry-free because Michael managed the details and made sure the pieces all fit into the timeline. Even when things started to look like they were going to be delayed, Michael made calls and contacted the right people to make sure there was no delay and the timeline remained unaffected. If we ever need to buy or sell again, we will go right back to Michael. read more

Highly personable, attentive, patient, and extremely professional is the best way to describe Michael Levison! He has lived and worked in Carlsbad for 20+ years so he knew which neighborhoods would meet our needs and which ones to avoid. We would describe ourselves as extremely picky in searching for our dream home and Michael remained extremely patient with us over the course of one year! When we finally found our dream home Michael was diligent in negotiating the best deal on the home. Additionally, we were out of the country during negotiations so Michael handled everything from being present for multiple inspections to getting us the furniture in the home at a great price. Communication is another key strength of Michaels. He was constantly informing us of potential homes for sale to the daily status of our escrow. Michael is the kind of realtor you hope will remain your good friend after closing the deal because he deeply cares about his clients and is truly passionate about what he does!
