I was referred to Kalyn by a friend, and that was easily the best referral that I've ever gotten! She was super friendly, responsive, and on top of things from the get go. Within just the first week of reaching out to her, she scheduled and accompanied us on three home tours, and she helped us submit an offer! That first escrow ended up being a tricky one because the seller was exceptionally difficult, and she was represented by a brand new realtor who didn't quite have a handle on his responsibilities or the general process of selling his client's home. This meant that Kalyn ended up doing three jobs: her job as the buying agent, most of the other realtor's job as the selling agent, as well as proactively and reactively dealing with the other agent's mistakes. To make things even more complicated, the house was actively falling apart while we were in escrow. Thankfully, issues that the seller did not disclose ended up coming to light anyway. We had many extra inspections throughout that whole process, and Kalyn handled it all! She has amazing contractors and inspectors that she works with, and they all went above and beyond to do things quickly for us. We were just 6 days away from getting keys when my husband and I decided that the escrow was too crazy and that the home no longer felt right for us. I felt so bad that after all of the time, hard work, passion, blood, sweat, and tears that Kalyn put into that escrow for us, we decided to back out. But when we called her to let her know our decision, she was an incredibly supportive sounding board, and she validated all of our thoughts and concerns. She never pressured us to push forward. She made it so clear that we weren't just a commission to her. She genuinely wanted us to find our dream home and do what was best for our family. Without skipping a beat, she cancelled that escrow and set up another house tour for us. We ended up submitting an offer and were in escrow on a new home just 4 days after we cancelled on the previous house. That second escrow ended up being a quick two week escrow because Kalyn and her team had already laid so much groundwork for us as buyers. This time, everything went so smoothly that my husband and I didn't have to do much of anything. We closed on that home and couldn't be happier! This home is even better than what we could have hoped for, and we know that it will be our "forever home" where we will raise our family. Through it all, Kalyn went from being a stranger to a friend. She walked with us through one of the craziest times of our adult lives, and she was our rock and encouragement every step of the way. When I thanked her for everything she had done for us, she responded by saying that when her clients put their trust in her, she takes it as a huge honor, and therefore views and treats them like she would her own family members. Pacific Coast handles the property management needs of an 8-unit complex I moved into a year ago. My girlfriend is disabled with a broken back, and I'm disabled with a heart and back condition. I also recently had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor. When I signed the lease, Pacific Coast assured me it would be a multi-year arrangement so we wouldn't have to worry about moving. After moving in, I asked for one handicapped space for my girlfriend (there are none), and they said they would ask the owner, Harriet Wicberg. When I took my girlfriend to them to add to the lease as required, they said the owner refused to lease to her! I also asked to have large flower boxes moved away from blocking fire escapes out of concern for my neighbors upstairs. They said they'd look into it, but never did. Now they say the owner wants my unit for her sister (there are two vacant units around me), so they're refusing to renew my lease, telling me we have to move out or face legal action. We appealed to them staying we are in no physical condition to move again after only one year due to our disabilities, but they didn't care. We have done nothing wrong, pay our rent on time, and are older, quiet tenants. Pacific Coast (Doug and Lori) is the most incompetent, unreasonable, and brutally cold "company" I've heard of. Stay away from any place managed by these jerks.

Unfortunately, I…read morecan't recall his last name, but I live in South Mesa One, and he has come by many times for house repairs and has always done an excellent job. Last night around 2 a.m., my fire alarms started going off, and my husband was away on training, so I was home alone and couldn't get them to turn off. I called the emergency service line, and they were able to send Jonathan out again. He called and said he'd be there in about an hour, but when I told him the alarms were going off nonstop, he really did get here as quickly as he could and was able to fix the issue for me. I appreciate his help so much. Being home alone in the middle of the night was terrifying, and I was crying and panicking because I have a strong fear of carbon monoxide poisoning and nothing I tried was working. Jonathan has always been so helpful and kind, and he has always taken care of our problems. I'm very grateful for his service.
