Used Michael twice in Mesa. Both as seller. First was sale of a town home/condo. Average experience, selling price was lower than I expect but within a couple weeks. Inspection results were nit picky, but we were told that we should tighten a couple screws and replace a door handle. Latest experience was for a 1.3 million home, in an extremely popular location and the home sat on the highest and best views in the development. Low number 1.0 was suggested cause " prices have come down". Using comps only is the minimum effort to set an asking price. Ex-wife was pushed a bit to get the sale done asap. She was fine with the 1.0, I wanted 1.2, eventually landed on 1.1. Sold in 6 days. The new owner I have spoken to and he thought it was a great price. He also was pretty disappointed in the communication from Michael. The home should also have been cleaned as the new owners reported urine and other cleaning that was needed. read more

I absolutely recommend Michael Kent and his team (shout out to Cosette!) to anyone trying to sell their home in this terrible market! I had my home on the market for about 7 months when I lost hope. I took it off the market and was about to rent it again but I got a call directly from Michael. He seemed very confident in his team's ability to sell the house so I heard him out and glad I did because he brought the receipts! I'm a data person so I decided to go with Michael when he showed me the year-to-date sales of my prior realtor, that of another I had been talking to and of course his results. The other realtors had 2-3 houses sold as of May and Michael's team had over 50! I figured I had nothing to lose and figured I'd give it the summer. My house closed in 48 days and he delivered on every commitment he made which meant the most to me. He promised to call every Thursday or Friday and he did, even after we closed as a final verification we were satisfied. Do yourself a favor and forgo hiring your cousin's neighbor who is a realtor on the weekends and will just list your property in the MLS and wait for something to bite.
