Anyone going through infertility knows how mentally, physically, and emotionally draining it is, but my experience was even more so because of what happen to me while being treated at CRH. First off, the organization of this office is very concerning. My second visit, Dr. Springer couldn't even find medical documents from my first visit. When I asked for my medical file towards the end of my treatment, they should have been able to provide it to me the very next day; instead, it took almost a month for them to compile and gather my medical records. Secondly, the secretary/receptionist is very unpleasant. The first secretary was amazing, but she left and the person that took over is unpleasant. However, Connie and Jennifer are amazing. They are very nice and supportive. Also the nursing assistant was very nice as well. Now I will explain why I put poor for this review. During my egg retrieval procedure, Dr. Springer hit a blood vessel in my left ovary causing me to internally bleed. I went almost an entire day with blood filling up in my stomach and around all my organs. It was extremely painful. I went to the emergency room later that day after the procedure. I couldn't get a hold of Dr. Springer and neither could the doctors and nurses in the ER room. Finally, the ER doctors and nurses were able to get a hold of them early the next morning and I had to have emergency surgery. I had to take off work because I had to recover from surgery. This affected me not only physically, but also financially. This should have never happened! It wasn't even explained to me that this was even a possibility! I went to CRH because they came highly recommended and I wish more than anything that I never went to them for this highly emotional time in our lives. I even had a bad feeling the first few visits, but I ignored it. I couldn't even figure out why I had a bad feeling, but either way, I wish I would have listened to it. I will state that Dr. Springer was apologetic for hitting a blood vessel and causing me to internally bleed and he felt bad. I did stay with CRH for the last procedure (embryo transfer). The only reason why I stayed though is because we already paid for everything and we couldn't afford to go anywhere else. We couldn't even afford CRH in the first place. I was furious to see that they charged me office visits and other fees for me having to come in after my emergency surgery because of Dr. Springer's error. I didn't see this until after I finally received my medical file and I saw what they charged my insurance for visits after I had to get emergency surgery. In my own opinion, CRH tries to take as much money as they can make from their customers. However, the only thing good that came out of this very traumatic experience is that we now have a baby girl whom we love very much. We are very thankful for that. I personally would NEVER go back to Center of Reproductive Health. I do not trust Dr. Springer due to my experience. This was an extremely traumatic experience and I still have anxiety from it. I would suggest going somewhere where you trust all the staff members and where all of the employees are understanding, pleasant, and supportive. Also, somewhere where you feel like they care more about you than making money. If you feel this way about CRH, that's great, but if you don't, I would suggest finding somewhere else right away.

My son did OIT from 6 months old and now no longer has a peanut allergy! (It took 10 months!). So thankful to not have to deal with shielding him from all things peanuts when he starts school. If you need allergy help for your offspring, this is the place to go. She is popular so book early. And if you want to learn more about what she does, she has written a couple of books to help explain food allergies and how they can be managed.

I mentioned that I brought him in because the nebulizer treatments weren't working. After being seen by the nurse practitioner he was only treated for asthma symptoms (given dup neb vs albuterol). In the past a nasal swab was taken before treatment. He was never tested. He was given an oral steroid in office and prescribed an oral steroid as well. The treatment plan was to use the nebulizer every 4 hours while home. As mention the neb treatments weren't working. Saturday the symptoms slightly improved but by Sunday night everything was back to the original symptoms. Luckily I was able to get an appointment with his PCP and turns out he had the flu. I wish the nurse practitioner would have tested him while there as it would have likely prevented a double trip. The flu is what was triggering the asthma. Also worth mentioning that the rooms and waiting room aren't the cleanest.

I was very disappointed with their billing and follow up care. I had to call to inquire about the results of my routine test since I hadn't heard from them in over 10 days. I visited the doctor to review my results. They could not find all the test, but I was billed anyway. The billing was based on a diagnosis that allowed them to bill me for additional out of pocket expenses/deductible. How could they make a diagnosis heart disease without knowing what the test results showed, no history of heart disease, and no EKG. I obtained a copy of the test results (urine and blood) and found nothing that was out of range or supporting the diagnosis of heart disease. I called to discuss with the physician and had to leave a message. The Physician never called me back. I called a second time 2 weeks later. Still no call back. I wrote a letter requesting an explanation. It's been over 30 days and I still have not received a response, correction, or apology. I will never return to this practice. I would recommend to everyone to stay away. This is a very amateur operation. Lucky for them I don't believe in lawsuits unless seriously injured. I know many people who would sue them or not pay the bills under protest.
