Of the four contractors contacted, Wesly responded quickly and was at our house the next day asking all the right questions. we also discussed two other projects, more in just passing, but interested in what she would come back with. Within a day, she came back with a series of quotes, one for the stair job we needed, which was very reasonable and for a design that worked very well. Her team showed up the next day and were efficient and very detailed. Our three step project was done in a day and looked great! Although we told Wesly the price on the other patio resurface project was a bit more than we were ready to take on, didn't stop her from finding another option that cut the cost using a ceramic tile that offered better wear, more color options and a design that better matched our house. We could afford that! We were also able to redo a ghastly concrete step from our den that a prior owner bought at Home Depot and dumped in place. Wasn't to code either. The Team was back out and did a marvelous job! They were there three days, morning to late evening getting the job done. The result updated the back of our house, the slate and brick step off the den was to code and the patio was comfortable to walk on and made my wife's patio set look really good. We signed a contract in late summer 2022 for a major home renovation. After a 4-month wait for the permit, we cycled through three foremen in under two years. Communication was poor, and the owner had to be constantly involved. Despite our timely payments on all draws and change orders, vendors were not always paid, and we were threatened with liens by one vendor and harassed by a second. After two years, only 40% of the project was complete. We always had an open relationship with JC Smith, and I don't believe their leadership are bad people. But they could not maintain quality staff or manage finances, leading to unpaid vendors and stalled work. We ultimately had to terminate the contract at a significant financial loss to our family and hire a new contractor. But we had no choice, and the experience with our new contractor has been night and day.

Fairway Home Services is, THE BEST renovation/remodeling company we have worked with in the last 20 years. Their quality meets or exceeds that of bigger and more expensive companies we have used. Marty and his crew are great to work with, responsive and communicate well. In addition, they are a great resource for remodeling ideas as the project proceeds. From start to finish DPS handled everything and kept me informed of the progress. They submitted estimates to my insurance, scheduled the various tradesmen, and even handled a change in scope after an electrical inspection uncovered additional damage. The project manager, Isaiah, kept me in the loop at every step and answered all my questions. He inspected the work as it was completed and wanted to be sure I was happy with the progress and quality of the work.
