A few years ago, I contacted this company about a roof leak that was allowing water into my back…read morebedroom. It took over a year for the MJS team to identify and address the source of the leak. During that time, multiple crews came to my home and removed drywall and insulation from the walls and ceiling while trying to locate the source. During this process, my bedroom sustained significant interior damage, including damage to the wood floors and electrical. The room became difficult to use, with missing drywall, exposed areas of the roof structure, and continued water intrusion. At one point, drywall was replaced without the insulation that had previously been removed. A couple of years later, the roof began leaking again in the same location. I contacted the MJS team because I understood the previous work to be covered by a warranty. Over the next two months, I had difficulty getting a response. Messages sometimes went unanswered for more than a week, appointments were not confirmed, and I often had to follow up for basic information. I was eventually given another contact number and told someone would come out to inspect the issue. Over the following three weeks, I was given several dates when someone would come by. Each time, no one arrived, and I had to follow up again. At this point, my concern is not simply scheduling. I have a recurring roof leak in the same location following a previous repair that took over a year to resolve and involved significant damage inside my home. I have spent months trying to get the issue addressed and obtain a clear response about the next steps. If you are considering this company, I recommend getting the scope of work, warranty terms, timelines, and follow-up procedures clearly documented in writing before proceeding.

The understanding was that the existing wood flooring would be removed so the new tile assembly would be installed over the subfloor. Instead, the existing wood floor remained in place and cement backer board and tile were installed over it. When I questioned this, I was told it was installed on the subfloor, this is not true. Then they told me that the original hardwood floor was the subfloor, this is also not true. I also experienced multiple issues with the tile installation. A cracked tile was installed even though I had replacement tiles available. When I raised the issue, they blamed me for not physically handing the installer the tiles because they didnt know where they were located. Which is ridiculous considering they were installing the tiles and know exactly where they are located. Later, additional tiles were damaged with a large circular cut that required further replacement. The checkerboard tile pattern was also installed incorrectly during part of the project. The wallpaper installation was another major concern. The wallpaper pattern was not aligned between panels. After I pointed this out, I was told the installers were not experienced with wallpaper installation and normally performed other types of work. The wallpaper was eventually removed, but I was informed that I would need to purchase replacement wallpaper because the original material had been discarded. They dumped their bucket of materials into my garden, caught on my security camera. During the entire process, I repeatably dismissed by rude workers and disappointed by what I viewed as repeated workmanship issues, poor communication, and a lack of accountability when I raised concerns. After I informed the company that I wished to end the project, the work area was left with construction debris and dust that I had to clean myself. They left all of the demo garbage in my garage and in my garden. If you meet either Gal, Tal (Tyler) or Priscilla Winters, I would personally recommend to run away. This review reflects my personal experience with this project.

I finally, actually, made the right choice, for a change! If you've had any of these concerns in the past, about what company to hire to do your job, you can just dismiss all these worries, if you just hire P.J. Roofing company. An incredible company with great, conscientious, serious, skilled employees in their work and work ethic. They recently replaced my old guttering, and did significant repair work on the siding at the back of my house. A representative of P.J. Roofing, Daniel, came out to my home and presented me with multiple options for new guttering, including color, size, and filtration systems to prevent my gutters from getting clogged, and subsequently having rain water, deluges of waterfalls in fact, spilling over my old guttering, that were previously encumbered with Gutter Helmet, which did not do what it was advertised to do. He also identified, understood my concerns, and recommended a solution to the problem, that I had recently been made aware of, with the old siding on a small portion at the back of my house. I am forever grateful for making the right choice in hiring P.J. Roofing. If I was going to have my roof redone, I would certainly hire them again in a nanosecond to do that work. I had their employees coming out after the guttering and siding work were completed, to ensure everything was done right, looked right, and to ensure that I was pleased with what they had done.
