Dr. Sullivan is the best dentist out there!!! Seriously. I was in an accident when I was 10 (I am 20 now), leaving me with a mess of a mouth. I've had 4 root canals, bone graft, and am getting implants on 4 FRONT teeth and couldn't have done any of it without the help of Dr. Sullivan. I would literally not have any teeth in my mouth without his help. While he doesn't do the surgical work himself, he referred me to someone he works close with and makes sure he has the day or time open to supervise whatever surgeries need to be done. EVEN IF HE ISN'T NEEDED on the particular surgery per se, HE MADE SURE to be there to know everything was being done up to his high standards. Having met Dr. Sullivan at a much younger age, he always made sure to put everything into layman's terms so I could fully understand what was going on, what needed to happen, and the ultimate goal. Even in the toughest and most devastating of circumstances, he has always been able to put a smile, even if just a small one, on my face. He has been more than understanding in regards to financial obstacles and continues to surprise me by being not only my dentist, but by playing the roll of a family friend through his involvement with my case. Never in my life have I met a dentist, or person, who holds the same high values as Dr. Sullivan does. I have been going to Dr. Sullivan office for almost six years now. When I first saw Dr. Sullivan my teeth were in bad shape from being scared of the dentist due to past experiences. From the moment I walked in the office to the moment I sat in Dr. Sullivan chair I knew things were going to be different. The office staff are very professional and friendly and Dr. Sullivan gives this calming demeanor when he greets you. Six years later and I absolutely love Dr. Sullivan. I've had to have root canals, extractions, bridges, bonding, and anything you can think of I probably have to get it done. The only pain I've ever felt was the needle and before you get the needle he puts numbing gel so by the time he gives you that pinch as he calls it lol, and him talking to you, the pinch is over. I truly recommend Dr. Sullivan to anyone that is looking for a friendly, painless, patient dentist with phenomenal bedside manners to Dr. Sullivan. I also recommend his hygienist we have a love/hate relationship lol. She does the best cleaning, not my favorite thing to do but she is patient with me and I always love my smile when she is done cleaning my teeth. I hope Dr. Sullivan has no future plans to retire because I don't know what I will do if I have to get a new dentist. read more

When you enter Dr. Sullivan's office it does not feel like the entryway to a typical dental office. It looks and feels like you are entering the lobby of a five star hotel. The front desk is extremely welcoming with conscientious staff that greet you by name. The rest of his office is very open and bright and his treatment rooms have comfortable chairs and individual televisions that make you feel like you are in your own living room. Office aside, Dr. Sullivan performs incredible work. From cavities to root canals to bleach trays, he does it all and is the best. I have been going to Dr. Sullivan since I was very young and could not imagine going to another dentist. One visit to him and any worries about seeing a dentist are thrown out the window. Let me start off by saying I Love Dr. Sullivan and his staff. They treat all of their patients like family. Prior to coming to Dr. Sullivan I was paying for Dental insurance for 15 years and did not see a dentist, so you know my mouth was in bad shape. Dr. Sullivan has taken all my anxiety of coming to the dentist away. When he say he is not going to hurt, he mean that. I had my first root canal, and boy was I scared. When I say I didn't feel a thing except my own anxiety, I didn't even know I was having a root canal done. He's the absolute best and he treats his patients like family. Zero pain - guaranteed. The dental hygienist, Jen, is also the MOST thorough cleaner you will ever meet, hands down. Not to mention she loves her job. I live and work in the loop but drive to their office - BECAUSE IT IS WORTH IT. Dr. Sullivan helped me when my previous dentist and a TMJ specialist completely failed. I had awful jaw tension nearly every waking moment, but now it's completely tolerable. He very clearly explained to me his thinking and rationale and told me my options in clear concise words ( I'm a medical student -- I've noticed most doctors absolutely fail at informed consent, including my previous dentist, but not Dr. Sullivan) He used my existing night guard to save me money, and luckily my jaw tension has greatly improved.
