Don't see Dr. D unless you're ready to go in with an open mind and a healthy dose of patience. After all, it is alternative medicine, it takes time, and there is no "sure thing" when it comes to healing. I still don't know what to make of his kinesiology techniques of divining ailments and remedies. This may be what some reviewers refer to as quack medicine. At the end of the day, it's results that count. When I first went to see Dr. D, I was prescribed double the daily dose of over-the-counter antihistamines, and still suffering from serious allergy symptoms that got progressively worse. Six months after being treated by Dr. D with herbal supplements, together with a commitment to a modified diet, my allergies symptoms are 90% gone and I'm completely off antihistamines. It's an amazing feeling to overcome a health problem you thought you'd be stuck dealing with for life. His fees are not inexpensive, more so if your health insurance doesn't cover alternative medicine. Even if it does, the herbal and homeopathic treatments can add up. But for me the journey has been worth it, especially when conventional medicine stopped being a viable long term solution. My experience with Mr Dardano was aweful! He first told me that my issue was all gut related, especially parasites and that I had no other issues such as Lyme or hormonal imbalance which I was waiting for test results for and tried to push on me the supplements he sells. Two weeks later I got my tests results back from my doctor and I had indeed Lyme and major hormonal imbalance. When I told M. Dardano that he was mistaken in his diagnosis he basically bullied me! I've been seeing dr Michael Dardano for over 6 years! Best healer ever! I've had bad back pain and carpal tunnel problems starting in my mid teenage years. Thought it was normal until I started seeing Dr Dardano and fixed me up. Took some time to get my adjustments to a normal human and now I get minor adjustments when i need it. Dr. Dardano also helps with alternative medicine and herbal remedies when it comes to my terrible digestion, gut, colds and even helps me with my cramps when Aunt Flow stops by every month. I came to Yelp as my last resort. I had been vomiting for months for no apparent reason. It started to become more frequent--about twice a week. I dont understand why this day and age, why we are still getting holistic medical advise form men like this. He came across as elitist, condesending, and careless. I grow tulsi (holy basil an amazing adaptogen) in my garden like a weed and dont understand why it would cost so much for 60 pills? UPDATE: came back to see Dr. Mike a second time cause I felt such a great deal of relief from the first visit. Second time was to address some TMJ, neck tightness, and this gosh darn headache i have had for over 1.5 years and had just assumed would be part of my life forever. I've been visiting Dr. Dardano for about a month and I can honestly say that he really does care about his patients. He's such a positive, uplifting person to be around too. This is an honest account of my experience with Michael Dardano, written without malice, solely for the purpose of warning prospective patients. I contacted him to help with digestive and skin issues, we scheduled a Skype meeting, an hour for which he charged me $200, and spent a good portion of the time telling me stories of other patients, including their last names, and talking to his dog who was in a chair next to him. He diagnosed me using "intuition," and prescribed a whole slew of supplements for additional $215 dollars. The cost of which was not disclosed until the end of our session. The supplements did nothing to help heal or abate my symptoms, and actually caused debilitating headaches. He said he'd never heard of that, and I was the only one to experience that kind of reaction. I developed more symptoms, and not knowing how to treat me, he stopped returning my calls and texts. I found another practitioner, a real healer and herbalist who asked about the supplements I was taking. I read the ingredients to her, only to find that they contained both gelatin and milk proteins. I am Vegan. Dardano knew I was vegan the first time we talked. Still he gave me animal products, one of which is among the top most allergy inducing foods known to humans. I confronted him about all this and he said the milk was negligible and the gelatin was vegetarian. Hmmm. I asked for my money back and he refused, calling my pointing out facts abusive. He took $500 from me (including one "follow up" in which he did what he calls reiki) and refuses to acknowledge his failure. He is not a healer. He didn't have a ton of reviews yet, but the ones he did have, made it clear that I had found the right person. This review is long overdue as when it comes to your own health, it can be hard to want to share. I had been struggling with my health for almost a year and seemed to have no answers. I was having stomach issues and breaking out into hives all over my body. I went to an allergist and dermatologist and was told I was likely sensitive to something, but it would be nearly impossible to figure out to what. I lost weight and was so stressed out all the time because of it. I was worried about what foods I should eat or avoid and I was exhausted. I decided to take a chance on seeing Dr. Dardano and I'm so happy I did. He has a lot of knowledge and an uncanny ability to tune in to what might be off balance. I like that he not only gives you the supplements best suited to your body, but he also knows that health is more than just physical (although side note, he is also a chiropractor and can help you with that too - he adjusted my ears when I had a bout of vertigo). He knows that for you to heal physically you also need to heal emotionally and mentally. He gives you guided meditations you can do at home, which are amazingly effective. The cord cutting meditation made more of a difference than I could have ever imagined. He also provides reiki energy healing. Combining all of these modalities, Dr. Dardano customizes a treatment plan you can't get anywhere else. He helps you learn how your body communicates with you to let you know when it's off balance and needs you to address it. I didn't think I'd ever get answers and feel better.
