We contracted with Precise Painting Solutions to paint the trim and doors to the front side of our 8-unit complex (2 colors). The contract specified: Power washing the exterior (Yes) Caulking (Nope) Priming (Nope) Scraping (Nope) Puttying (Nope) Repair damaged wood window trim (for $200 we got one piece of window trim replaced which fell off before the day was over; they did secure it with painters' tape the following day) Over a 3 week period of time, we were "assigned" one painter. This seemed reasonable except we were unable to communicate with the painter - he only spoke Spanish. This would not have been a problem at all if someone from the company effectively communicated with him. A "foreman" was dispatched early on to address our concerns, however, almost every single thing the foreman said ended up to be total BS. Communication (or lack there of) was simply abysmal; appointments made to address problems were blown off -- not even a courtesy call to say no one was going to show up. Assurances that a notification would be provided when the front doors were going to be painted (so that the owners could be make arrangements to have their doors open so that the inside jambs and edges could be painted) never materialized. Paint bubbled, paint peeled, areas were missed altogether, cracks were never prepped, cracks were never filled, NOTHING was sanded. A walk through with the owner of the company at which a comprehensive list of problems was provided per unit, resulted in the owner placing pieces of painters' blue tape over each issue (and photos taken of those areas not accessible from the ground floor). The following day "our" painter came through and simply removed the pieces of blue tape before doing anything and then asked for a check. (BTW his request was illustrated by gestures since he does not speak English and I do not speak Spanish.) After 3 weeks of little communication, total lack of courtesy and disregard for the contract, we asked the company to leave the premises. BEWARE!

Drywall work can be very messy/dusty, but not only did they tarp off all of the furniture in the room, each night they finished they cleaned up every spec of dust. They did an incredible job repairing our wall that got water damaged from a leaking A/C air handler in the attic. Not only did they have to tear out drywall and kill mold in the wall and replace the drywall, they also had to match the texture we have on all of the walls of our house. The final price ended up being more than the initial estimate, but Anthony said right up front if there was mold it would be a bigger and more costly job. I still think it was a good value for the amount of work, their respectfulness, and the way the cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend Anthony for any carpentry/drywall job and will be calling him back for our next job.
