It's a very small space, so definitely get there early if you want a good seat otherwise, you might be squeezing in wherever you can. What really stood out was the staff. They're comedians too, which made the whole experience feel more personal and fun. Everyone was incredibly kind, accommodating, and genuinely funny. You could tell they cared about creating a great atmosphere. The crowd and lineup were a great mix, which I always appreciate. And the comedians? Not amateurs by any means. The jokes were sharp, well thought out, and actually funny... you're not sitting there forcing laughs. While there was a little bit of blue comedy here and there, it wasn't overdone. It was refreshing to hear more curated, clever material. My best friend just moved to the area, and we've been exploring different spots together. We're really glad we checked this place out and would absolutely come back, just earlier next time for better seats. They do have a full bar, but keep it simple. This isn't the place for craft cocktails, just stick with the basics like a rum and coke or a screwdriver and you'll be good. Overall, we loved the cozy, up-close feel. It's a solid choice for an easy, night out before heading somewhere else for drinks. Definitely worth checking out.

A small space with a bar in the back., no bad seats The people at the elbow room might want to take a look at their public address system. It seemed to actually mute the audio - when people didn't use the mic. It was clearer. I went to quite a few of these Oakland comedy events in the before days and I'm glad to see them coming back

We decided to come here last night ,for the first time, since it changed managerment/owner. We had…read morehigh hopes since we used to come a lot to this place when it was still Toto's Grill. We came at around 7pm and there where only two groups dining in. Maybe people will start coming in late since this place now have a comedy bar at night. Toto's Grill used to have ONE same price for all the bbq sticks. I understand that prices has since gone up, BUT, the prices were not posted anywhere in the restaurant. I thought there's a law that prices should be visible to the customers? It should not be a surprise to anyone what they will be paying by the time they get to the register to pay. That's what happened to us. And they guy at the register automatically assumed that I didn't want my receipt. so when I asked for it, he just reprinted me the credit card part with the total and not the itemized one. and I was trying to figure out how come our total came up high, so I had to ask if the bbqs still have one same price, and that's when he said that they're not. Imagine when it's busy and, of course, people won't have time to ask how much each different bbq sticks are. The guy also didn't mention anything about the 3% credit card fee and it's nowhere posted by the register. The food has changed too. There's nothing to be raving about them. The pork intestines were bigger but the texture is fattier and softer. No matter how long you cook it, it's like eating 100% fat. There's no chew or texture on it. The chicken intestines were too small and thin, so when you cook it, nothing much is left in the stick to eat because it got thinner. I think the only thing I liked here was the pork ears. Will I come back? Maybe no. For the price they are charging now, which is still a mystery to me, and the quality of food, I don't think it is worth it.

The way it works is you choose the food (on a stick) you want and you grill it yourself. The chicken on the stick was a little salty for my taste. They had other things on the menu but it was pricey for the amount of food you get. Like a bowl of Aroz Caldo was $14.99 and it was mostly soup. Hardly any rice or meat. FYI they do not serve alcohol. The service was great! The staff were friendly and also entertaining. The place was a small. We had a party of 25 and we took up half the space. I'd come back again for the entertainment

The shows were canceled without any notification other than a sign on the door that said that all shows were canceled (Friday and Saturday). We bought tickets for Saturday and the sign was posted for the Friday show. I had folks driving in from Santa Cruz to attend and they were pissed. Checked their website and socials - no notice or announcement. In fact there were posts still promoting the event with a link to buy tickets. We hung outside to figure out alternative plans and saw a ton of people show up who also had no idea that the show was canceled so it wasn't just us. I get that it's a community-led theater but they could at least update us on their socials and website. We were all looking forward to the show because magic shows like this aren't frequent and we wanted to support the theatre. We tried calling the office and got no response. I called about 2 hours after the show was supposed to happen and got someone who was very nice. I was able to get a refund after opting out of the rescheduled show. When I said that I'd rather get a refund because who knows if the rescheduled show will be canceled, the person on the phone kind of chuckled in agreement. I don't plan on purchasing anything here or recommending shows here again.

So when I was looking for a play outside of SF this year, I immediately thought of this beautiful and intimate community theater that is only about 15 minutes away from us. It sits about 100 people and is on a first come first served basis. The only issue I had was they almost gave our seats away since we were running 5 minutes late even though we already paid months ago which there was no mention of on the reservation itself. Hopefully that would be something they could avoid doing in the future if it has already been prepaid but luckily, there were still 2 seats left and we were able to catch the play which was Agatha Christie's Unexpected Guest. Very well acted, keeps you guessing until the very end, and the actors even greet you on the way out. Looking forward to seeing another play here soon.

I feel like it's just not for me. Now, I'm giving 1 star because I have further concerns about their professionalism and customer service considering the owner kept changing their response to my other review to random rude replies. First they wrote in all caps saying I'm spam, then they said something like "your car wasn't even ever here".Maybe they are confusing me with another customer and not intentionally trying to manipulate the feedback to discredit my review, but I still can't recommend this place by the odd and unprofessional behavior toward customers regardless of who they think I am instead of offering the typical kindness that you'd expect from a business. It's safe to say I won't be giving this another shot in the future

This general area has a few places to bar hop - Funky Monkey, Stein, Dirty Bird and The Bistro - going to some or all of the above on any given evening makes for good fun. Smaller bands are great to discover here. It makes for a very lively atmosphere. Hayward goes above and beyond with community events and closing down B street regularly. There are two pizza places nearby - I prefer Susie Qs - its very upscale for Hayward. OOops, I'm sorry - that wasn't meant to be some backhanded compliment about the city. From what I know the owner of this place is actively involved in the city of Hayward and I like that. All the more reason to support this establishment. Downtown Hayward can be very fun - its not the worst place to live - just get out and make the best of it.
