AutoMD.com estimates ~2.5 hrs for the job and the avg independent shop in my area is ~$85-$90/hr, with a range of $230-$265 for labor on this job. With variance in price on part, total estimates were $505 - $664. Faber is on the mid/high side. Pros: fast service. Fair parts cost (~15% markup). Warranty on work. Cons : Not clear on OE vs OEM parts. High labor rate for area ($104/hr), excessive labor time valuation (+0.25hrs over estimate). Mid-high total job cost.

I did purchase the oil change through Groupon and everything worked out pretty smoothly. I was charged an additional $15 because my car needed an additional quart of oil and they also tack on a few extra dollars for what I think was an "oil disposal fee". Nevertheless, the staff was friendly and service was done pretty quickly. What I really liked was they didn't try to sell you on all the extra b.s. that other shops usually do. I maintain my car fairly well and know I didn't need a transmission fluid service, windshield wipers, air filters, etc. so when I mentioned I just wanted to change the oil and that was it, I appreciated that they didn't waste my time. I'd definitely come back again.

Returned just before hitting the hour and a half and waited in the waiting area. After about another 15 mins, asked how much longer. They stated they didn't even do the alignment which was the original reason for coming and that they tried to call ( do not have any missed call ). But wanted to try and upsell new tires and tire rotation. It is now 2:16 and I'm still sitting waiting.. *UPDATE* 2:54pm and my car is now getting pulled in for the alignment 3:20pm and the car is finally done and on a test drive. So a 25 min service took 3 and a half hours. Appreciate the service guys!
