I had to repeatedly ask her to clarify what she was telling me. I did not receive any printed information on preparing for this procedure or what to expect or even if I could drive home on my own. In addition, she chastised me when I told her my pain level. Why ask that question if you don't take patients seriously. So I did what healthcare professionals tell us NOT to do, I had to look the information up on the internet. turns out that I do need a driver and a day off work which I did not prepare for. Sad when AI is your only hope. I have been with Excelsior for years and years. The changes that have been made in procedure and healthcare "professionals" are not an improvement for patients. I guess we all have to live with progress now that excelsior is a huge conglomerate and not patient centered.
